Description
On August 15th 1971 President Richard Nixon made a major announcement stating that the US Dollar would no longer be redeemable for gold. This meant that the Bretton Woods Monetary System was now over. This was a major shift in money and monetary policy. The world has since adapted, adjusted, and even flourished. With that in mind, there is always the potential for change and innovation. Perhaps the next innovation is at our doorstep in the form of Synthetic Commodity Money, something Ampleforth has created.
