Description

3D printing just reached its peak! Meet Simon Srensen from Sweden, who runs the youtube channel RCLifeOn, who specialises in using 3D printers to create all kinds of amazing things, and in this case, created a 3D Printed Full Body Twin.

The exact number of hours to print all the pieces was 185 hours and an entire week of painting!

A full body 3D scan made it possible for Simon to print his entire body in 5 large pieces. It was then assembled and cleaned up for an artist to paint a realistic appearance.

INFO ON THE 3D BODY TWIN

5 Pieces took 200 hours to print

The ends are solid but just by a millimeter (for glue to stick). However, the head was printed with 20% infill to ensure it would print well.

Total weight was 5kg and PLA (the plastic it's made of) costs approximately $20/kg - $100 total

Thanks for watching
