3D Zoetrope Real Time Stop Motion Machine

This amazing animated optical illusion, is called a Zoetrope, which were the first kind of animated entertainment before movies.

The Zoetrope machine can play 3D-printed animations by spinning them on a disc in front of an array of LED strobe lights. The machine will offer interchangeable animation plates you can 3D Print like the fish-eating-fish and jumping frogs.

WHAT IS A ZOETROPE - Zoetropes were invented back in the early 1800s, it was an early form of motion picture display, that consisted of a drum containing a set of still images, showing progressive phases of that motion.

When the drum was turned in a circular fashion, viewers would look through tiny openings, and see images dancing around before their eyes, which created the illusion of motion.
