Description
"The Non-orientable Lavender Menace" takes its shape from a möbius strip - a surface with one side and one boundary and that is mathematically un-orientable. In it, Terry Berlier, associate professor in the Stanford University Department of Art & Art History, and collaborator Llewelynn Fletcher, a Cincinnati-based artist, aimed to make a queer work of art overturning systems of power and honoring queer heroes.
