I decided to start working on this arrangement because It was a great challenge. When you listen to the chorus of the original song, you can hear the main riff (recorded by Steve Lukather) sounding together with the Michael's vocal melody and, of course, drums, bass and other instruments. My objective was to play all of this parts together: the main riff, the vocal melody and the percussion part. I had to find the proper tuning and make good use of the harmonics but in the end I got it. The tapping part is to remark on the great solo that Eddie Van Halen recorded for this song.

Nota: Decidí comenzar a trabajar en este arreglo porque era un gran reto. Cuando escuchas el estribillo de la canción original se puede escuchar el riff principal (que grabó Steve Lukather) sonando conjuntamente con la melodía vocal de Michael Jackson y, por supuesto, la bateria, bajo y otros instrumentos. Mi objetivo era tocar simultaneamente el riff principal con la melodía vocal más la parte de la percusión. Tuve que encontrar la afinación adecuada y hacer buen uso de los armónicos pero finalmente lo conseguí. El tapping es un guiño al formidable solo de Eddie Van Halen que grabó para esta canción.
