Description

Through natural selection, living things have evolved over billions of years from simple cells into an awe-inspiring array of organisms. “Life at the Limits” Co-curators John Sparks and Mark Siddall explain how over time natural selection leads to changes within populations, resulting in a wide variety of adaptations, behaviors, and other characteristics.

Discover some of the incredible organisms on our planet in the exhibition “Life at the Limits: Stories of Amazing Species,” now on view in the LeFrak Family Gallery through January 3, 2016. Find out more about the exhibition: http://www.amnh.org/exhibitions/current-exhibitions/life-at-the-limits

The American Museum of Natural History gratefully acknowledges the Richard and Karen LeFrak Exhibition and Education Fund.

Generous support for Life at the Limits has been provided by theEileen P. Bernard Exhibition Fund.

"Life at the Limits" is proudly supported by Chase Private Client.
