Description

What is gluten? How does yeast help dough to rise? Heather and Joel of the Live Science Team show you how to make bread in this tasty experiment to try at home.

Quick method:
Mix 500g Flour, 7g yeast, teaspoon of salt, 350mL of water.
Knead for 5 minutes
Rise/Prove for 30 minutes
Knead for 30 seconds
Prove for 2 hours
Bake at 200 C for 25 minutes, followed by 250 C for 10 minutes.
Leave to cool, then eat!
