Description

Visit the American Museum of Natural History each holiday season to see one of New York’s most beloved displays, the Origami Holiday Tree—an annual tradition for more than forty years. Produced in partnership with OrigamiUSA, the tree is delightfully decorated with more than 800 hand-folded paper models created by local, national, and international origami artists.

This year's theme is Origami Night at the Museum, and the tree highlights characters and objects from the Night at the Museum movies that can be found at the Museum. Enjoy origami models of Theodore Roosevelt, the Tyrannosaurs rex, the Rapa Nui Moai (Easter Island figure), and many more.

The tree is now on display in the Museum's Grand Gallery and will remain through January 11, 2015.
