Stefan Hagel plays the Hellenistic Aulos

In this video Stefan Hagel (Senior Research Scholar, Institute for the Study of Ancient Culture, Austrian Academy of Sciences) plays the reconstruction of a Hellenistic Aulos. According to legend, Aulos, an ancient Greek instrument said to have been invented by the Goddess Athena but she threw them away because they made her cheeks puff up, ruining her beauty.
