Stretchy electronics go wireless

Flexible electronics offer a lot of potential benefits to the design of wearable technology, but previous intrinsically stretchable semiconductors havent been able to meet the strict requirements for the high-frequency operation needed for many useful applications.

Now a team of researchers have developed a new polymer diode that is stretchable and operates at high enough frequency to unlock wireless operation and power.
