A Mandelbrot is a mathematical formula that can be represented mathematically as:

The Mandelbrot set can be explained with the equation zn+1 = zn2 + c. In that equation, c and z are complex numbers and n is zero or a positive integer (natural number). Starting with z0=0, c is in the Mandelbrot set if the absolute value of zn never becomes larger than a certain number (that number depends on c), no matter how large n gets.

It can create amazing computer graphics with just a few lines of code. As you zoom it, the patterns keeps repeating forever! Things like tree branches, leaves, and much more in nature can be represented by it.

 

This is a new record of the iteration number. 750 000 000 completed in 2017! This value took more than 10 gigabytes of ram to render the reference. The min-iteration number of the last keyframe is 153 619 576.
