Description
So you’ve always known the sun to be hot, but why was it? And how hot is the sun exactly? Well, right in core of the sun it is 15 million Kelvin – or over 26 million degrees Fahrenheit! Even the cooler parts of the sun are 10 thousand degrees. If you want to know just how hot that is, your bedroom at home is probably somewhere around 68 degrees Fahrenheit, and a hot oven can be around 400 degrees. That’s a big difference!
