I agree with Thalia 1000000000%! Lemme guess, your brother is favored over you? Also, that's basically assault! he sounds so cruel! My brother is actually like mostly the opposite of so many guys, he's not that loud, he's smart, he's actually kind most of the time, he bought me my tablet with his own money, he's creative, he doesn't like violence, he doesn't like sports, and he protects me. I feel really lucky to have my brother now, although he hit me a few times super hard before, but only when he got mad.
Do you think that your brother would protect you if a kidnapper came? If you don't think so, maybe he actually doesn't care, and if you think so, even if it's 0.00000000001%, he probably will. i thought that my brother wouldn't protect me from bad people, and bullies, but he actually does! So maybe he's just getting mood swings? Unless he's always been like that?
