The battle of Bunker Hill was a battle on 2 hills in Charles Town, Massachusetts that took place on June 17, 1775.
American forces had constructed a massive bunker over looking the Boston Harbor. The British troops attacked 2 times before taking Breeds, and Bunker Hill. British casualties were over 1,000. Over 800 Redcoats were wounded, and over 200 were killed. America had over 400 casualties. After this, British Gen. William Howe said he would never attack entrenched Americans ever again.
