⬛⬛⬛5)Non Fiction How To (This focuses on animals {mammals})
How to check if an animal is healthy when picking out one at the shelter/pet store! The owner of the place should allow you to examine the animal you want to adopt/buy, and if they don't, observe the animal's behavior. The animal should be lively and interested in you or its surroundings. Its eyes should be bright with no trace of crusty eye boogers, moisture, or puffiness. The fur should be clean, shiny, and free of matted areas or build up of feces. The movement of the animal should be smooth without limps or stumbles. Ask the owner of the place you are going to take the animal from if it is up-to-date with all its medicines and vaccines.
Now, if this is true of the animal you are planning to get, it is probably healthy.
