More than 20 species of dinosaur have been exacavated in Portugal. They lived from the Middle Jurassic from the Late Cretaceous. But here are some of them:
- Brachiosaurus, an herbivorous dinosaur with a long neck and hind legs that are shorter than it's front legs.
- Camptosaurus, an iguanodont (herbivorous dinosaurs with teeth resembling those of an iguana) with four toes.
- Camarasaurus, an herbivorous dinosaur who ate soft plants, twigs, and branches and lived in the temperate forests of the Jurassic.
