It seems that when something really bad might happen, I’m the lucky one and it doesn’t happen. Examples:

• I accidentally clogged the toilet and my parents told me to not flush it another time or else I’d flood it (I’m pretty sure). I flushed it another time before they told me. Good thing the toilet didn’t flood the bathroom.
• I was at a beach next to the Pacific Ocean making a sand castle. I decided that it was a good idea to make a moat full of water. (I didn’t realize that sand absorbed water) With my bucket, I decided to head towards the ocean. The tide was coming out, so I had to go farther and farther in to get water. Just as I was about to get water, the tide came in (a huge wave happened) and next thing that happened, I was on my back and crying for help and realizing that I was gonna die. Luckily, my mom was watching me the whole time so she got me out of there. I was really cold and wet and I was thinking that I was gonna get frostbite because the cold water collected in my rain boots. The aftermath wasn’t completely lucky but it was lucky that I lived. (Yes, my mom actually saved my life)
