Years ago, when the realm was still developing, there were forces from different Domains. One, named for the burning pits of Hell, the fire that had burned from relics, waste that men had left uncertain. And with that, there was robots created by other versions of men they were left unnoticed too. But these men were different. From spending their life in entertain of regret, they’ve changed the waste land for better. Then, wars come. These war’s have burned many citizens, most that are humans. After populations have decreased during the war, someone had to do something; so, men had collected “magic” from other planets to make them strive. This time, they are stronger, more reluctant and restored than before. This time, this planet will win. This planet’s name is Therris; but now, this planet is losing the meaning of its name.
“Sol!” Elan yelled to a brown-haired boy with light blue eyes. “What?!” he answered with a smirk on his face. “Ugh, we have to go!” she yelled back in return as Sol rolled his eyes. The two were in a small cottage with pots and pans. There were three small beds, and another bed that looked for a small child. There was an upstairs that was led up by a ladder, leading up to a few other beds.
The pot on the stove boiled, its bubbles popping. “Okay, Sol, you check Mum.” The short-haired girl said. She had clear skin and wore baggy pants with a striped top. Sol nodded. “Fine,” Sol opened the wooden door to outside, which seemed to be brighter than usual. Sol trudged through the tall grass.
“Mum! Mum!” Sol yelled, which he then saw his mother – a tall, old lady holding a baby whilst popping carrots up from the ground. “Yeah son, what’d you like?” the woman had asked, getting up from the dirt ground. She was a bit on the heavy side and wore a yellow dress. It wasn’t a fancy dress, it was a “peasant” dress.
“The soups ready,” Sol responded with his head down low.
“Fine then, I’m coming,” she sighed, straightening herself.
“Okay, go get the vegetables,” Sol had picked up a brown bag that held carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers.
The baby that was held with a strap of cloth to her whined, making the two role their eyes. “Elan, she’s going to get the soup out with the ladle.” Sol smiled at the baby, while holding her chubby hands. Mrs. Heartstrings, the mother, had looked up in the air. “It’s getting dark out, we should get to the house quickly.” She said concerned.
“Okay, Mum,” the two headed quickly to the house, which had Elan sitting with soup on the table. “Thank you, Elan,” said Mrs. Heartstrings. “When’s father coming?” asked Elan while sipping her hot soup that steamed.
“Hopefully not too late, he knows it’s dangerous out there.” She said it in a concerned way but making sure the children wouldn’t aberration.
“It’s okay Mum, work is work, it’s how we pay for the clothes we have.” Sol continued to sip on his soup. “Your right, children, I shouldn’t fret.” Mrs. Heartstrings at eaten all her soup.
“Well, its late, so once you’re done, go to bed!” Mrs. Heartstrings laughed in joy.
“Okay, Mum, we will!” Once the children were done, their pasty faces headed up on the ladder to go to bed.
Sorry it's short. So, here's what this is. You know that old series I had, Otherworldly Ending? This is a alternative version of it. Where it has different characters, but in the same world. This I believe would be chapter 20. I may not continue because I have another story on my mind, but I still hope you enjoyed, even if it is short.
