For those who don’t know, I want to become an activist. My biggest (and weirdest) talent is poetry, so I have decided to make a poem about racism. This is one of the worst problems in the world. Racism is not only taunts against skin color, it’s much more. So read on.
‘Cuz they are the Same
Some people differ
They are stiffer than stiffer
They breathe in different air
No, they don’t care
Bravery
Every night I pray
For the gay
To be respected
I don’t want them to be rejected
Respect
I see the blacks
Shot with insults behind their backs
All they want
Is to not be taunt
Justice
Oh, the people with polio
Are called crippled although
They can not control it
They wish to outwit it
Together
The strong activists
And the believing fundamentalists
Are threatened
But for these things, they are weaponed
Prepare
And how I wish for respect
For peace to affect
Wipe away those tears
Conquer your fears
YOU ARE STRONG.
