That's because I unvoted many questions. I did that because it felt wrong...it felt wrong to use the voting system as a way to earn points. I mean, I didn't even view the questions and answers I upvoted. So I decided to unvote those questions and answers. idk if that sounds weird,but I wanted to see how many I exactly have without those votes. Turns out I have 50,000 points. Also, recently someone voted 97 questions and answers of mine. Were this you?

Yeah, she gave out 3,000 + upvotes in the past week.

I don't view upvoting for points as a bad thing because it makes users feel good to have people like their questions and you get some points for it. It's a win-win. The only thing I don't like is when people have only answered 30 questions like princess kittens, and then they upvote 3000 times and pass up long-time users who have answered hundreds of questions like GemHeart or something. It's not fair to long-time users.

Yeah... I agree with you. And that's why I unvoted many posts. It's not like that I stoped voting posts, I still do like the questions and answers. But I don't upvote 5000+ questions in one day like I used to do.
