Maya
I was unsure about Steve at first. Now I am sure he is no good. I slap him off me of me. He looks at me as if he is hurt. I slap him as hard as I can, tears began rolling out my eyes. He turned away. I wanted to run. I wanted to run, hide and get away. Knowing the man who was my father wasn't important anymore. I had to live.
Chapter 10
Steve
I was scared. I eased to my seat. Yes. She has slapped you, Steve. I hated working for Her. It was her mission to kill Maya, and her father. Why? Over some joke in High School. She said that Maya's Mom worked with her. I had seen Mrs.Valdezi around, but I never thought she was with the group.
I forgot about all Her orders were and drove. Far. I didn't know where I was. Suddenly I wreaked into a palm tree. Fernanda, went flying though the air. I thought, please don't let her die. Please. Fern was thrown into the back. Maya was going to be crushed. The palm tree moved around. It began to tilt. It was falling. We were going to die. I moved myself over to Maya and Kissed her, on the lips. I was so shocked, so was she. Then just as it was falling, the kiss ended. I crawled under the wheel.
"MAYA! GET UNDER!"
"I want to save fern!"
She grabbed Fern and put her under with her just as the tree slammed into the car.
