I desperately need help. One of my best guy friends just told me he loved me!!!!! I feel so bad bc I dont have feelings for him and I have been talking to him about my crush and he must have been so sad. We have been friends forwver and have shared all our secrets...but tbats the thing, we've only been friends! I need help!

Oof. in a case like this, doing the wrong thing could ruin a great friendship. I think you should just talk to him nicely, making sure you’re not hurting his feelings but at the same time making it clear that you only want to be friends.

You just need to be honest. You'll hurt him more if you dance around the truth. Tell him calmly, and clearly, that you don't have romantic feelings for him. Let him know that you wouldn't be friends with him if he wasn't a wonderful person-- and that you care for him as a friend. But make it clear that a relationship is out of the question, to prevent both hearts from being hurt in the future. Hope this helps.
