Heya y’all! It’s me again, Lemony!

It’s been officially 1 year since my first post here on KidzTalk!! I’ve grown so much, it’s kinda crazy. But it also feels like no time at all! I’ve made friends, and even convinced some of my real life friends to join! It’s sure been a journey, from my first *gags* “art” piece I posted to what I make now, and mentally too. I’m in a bit of a rough spot right now, but I’m trying my hardest and you can bet all your sour patch kids I’ll stay here as long as I can! I’ve invited a haikyuu friend I made on Among Us to join the community too, so if you see this, HI KENMA!!! I know our community’s a little different than other socials, but we’re all friendly and would love to have you here! To also go along with the theme of my first post, happy ADHD awareness month! It’s been a year and I took another test two weeks ago, still waiting for results. It’s been a long journey and I honestly kind of envy the people who can get a diagnosis so easily. Thank y’all for being here every step of the way.

Congrats! Omg I can’t believe it’s been a year!! Anyway I just wanted to tell u how much I love and care about u. U were one of my first friends on here and have helped me so much. Things will get better, trust me. I dug myself into a pretty deep hole a while ago, and u helped me so so so much. U made me feel loved. And I want u to feel loved too. It really helps a lot to know you’re here for me, cause I am slipping a little back into the “too fat, don’t eat” thoughts that I thought were just going away, and panicking a little more frequently then I used to. I really don’t wanna feel like a burden, and you saying you care about me helps a lot heart

Ah, I hope so too!! You are never a burden! And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Yeah, those thoughts suck. Just think of it this way, you are HUMAN. You are not perfect. Body fat is OK. It’s what keeps you warm, and what protects your heart and insides. Like a shield. :)

Thanks so much, Jelly! Yesterday I was starting to panic, and my cousin gave me this advice that I thought you could use too!

Think of something really stupid. Like, a dinosaur trying to get something from the vending machine but it can’t cause it’s head is in the way... and if the intrusive thoughts are too loud to do that, say “I’m gonna hug you” in the deepest, most like macho voice you can muster. It should get you laughing!

That really helped me, along with just interrupting by watching TV so my brain had to focus on something else :D
