I HAVE JUST STARTED PUBERTY LESSONS IN SCHOOL AND IM SCARED ABOUT HAVING MY PERIOD I MEAN I DONT WANT BLOOD IN MY PANTS PLEASE REASSURE ME I AM SCARED I CANT TALK TO MY MUM SHE ISN'T AROUND ANY MORE SO WHO DO I ASK? I NEED SOME ADVICE please help me

If my mom had her period when she was 16, do you think I will if I'm 12 and haven't had anything happen at all yet? That's what the doctor said but I am confused.

It’s a natural thing! I know it can seem scary at first, but you’ll get used to it. I’m on mine right now, and honestly it’s only a little inconvenient. I can answer any questions you may have, though!

What do you mean by that? You can’t exactly tell when it’s coming until you’ve had it for a while then you can predict it, sort of.
