Not to brag, but people always are telling me that I’m so pretty. But I’m 11 now and whenever I look in the mirror, I see this beast with a fat, ugly face, crazy hair and just... yeah. WHY DO I LOOK SO UGLY TO MYSELF?? Help me!

im 11, almost 12... i feel the same honestly. I feel like their lying and I just dunno what to do. Also, if it makes you feel better, it's impossible to comb my hair. The second I do comb my hair, it springs up again and it becomes tangled. what do I do??????

I totally agree, but I do get the whole female trust bonding through oppression and insecurity thing.  I know males have insecurities too, but they haven't been told by society that they have to be perfect, never frowning, makeup always flawless, ect.

I don't know. I'm nearly 13. When I was 11, I was tall, thin, and pretty. And I've always been. And I still am. But I don't care if I'm fat or skinny or ugly or pretty.

i havnt been ever skinny ive been thicker than other girls so i know how you might feel i have charlie brown cheeks and a  buuble bottom and i feel ugly to everyone says that im beautiful to but i dont feel that either .ps my name is leslie im 11.im very very VERY insicure

Yea me too. I’m skinny, tall (very tall for a gymnast), and hair on my body shows up more cause it’s darker than my skin. I am also very insecure help me I’m so ugly I hate my face and hair and body auggg
