Hello Girls,

I hope your having a great day! Thank you for reading this! I just wanted to say that I started my period today. I did not get a lot of blood at all and I am wearing a small pad. It is not so bad at first. Any advice?

Hi!

Yes, you SHOULDN'T wear small pads anymore!!!!!

If you happen to have nothing else than small pads then you should add a few extra in there, but the best is to have bigger pads.

And yes, most deffinitley if you have your period, mark it in a calender so you can at least be prepared for your next cycle. And when you are close to having your period, you should also bring a bag with pads to school!!!! (Very important)

I got my Period when I was 10, yes in 4th grade. Big shocker, but no matter how old you are you should at least already know a little bit about puberty. My Advice? Get a puberty book!

One of the best ones= The Care and keeping of You, the body book for Younger girls

If you are already over the basics, then you should get the=

The Care and keeping of You, for Older girls.

Hope this Helped!!! :)

Hi! Sorry, I’m 10 but I know a lot about periods!!! I’m pretty sure I’m going to get one soon too. Advice is to exercise if you can. IK periods can make you tired.

Hi.

I started mine on January 2nd. It was that evening. I wanted to get my mother, but se was asleep and I was afraid that she would throw a fit if I told her. But that day, I did whatever she'd told me about periods. I did not freak out (or panic) at all. I was completely calm.

The next morning, I told my mother about what had happened that night, and she was just like, ''So that's why there were pads in the floor.'' OK, then, I thought. Then she gave me a liner to go in my underwear. It helped.

4 months before starting my period, I saw spotting on the wipe twice when I went to the bathroom. I also dreamed about getting my first period.

So, anyway, during my first non-dream period, I craved peanut butter and caramel chocolates.

Just saying don't say boys don't read this cause that is just going to make them want to read it even more .

Not if they want to throw u-up!

Just respect the choices she made! She obvi just wants her gender here and I respect that! As should you and everyone else!

Hey Girl! I know it seems rough now and your body is changing in ALL sorts of ways, but it'll get better! Ginger and lemon help for upset stomach problems, and if you are dealing with cramps, (THE WORST!) then use a heating pad, or take a soothing epsom salt bath! (Epsom salt is also called 100% magnesium sulfate, and you can pick it up at CVS or Wallgreens) epsom salt has amazing healing propertys! If the pain gets too bad, I take over the counter advil and that helps. I also bring an emergency bag everywhere I go, and have a code word with my friends if they or I forget something ;)

Congrats on your journey grin
