Should I get a Pinterest account?

Question

So I have heard that Pinterest is one of the most popular social media platforms out there. It sounds cool, so I wanted to check it out. But the problem is that I can't decide whether to sign up for it or not. I need your help!

If you have used/still use Pinterest, then please write down what you think about it in the answers section below. Is it safe to use? Is it worth signing up? Would you recommend others to use it?

I won't say that I haven't come across adult content over there, but I don't think there are any hackers.

Yes! I've been using it since 2019, and i've never found any adult content in it. I use it for art references and wallpapers.

What I like about Pinterest is that you can filter 18+ content.

Pinterest is pretty cool!! Try not to get too addicted though, it’s almost as addicting as TikTok!!! Pinterest is like YouTube-but no videos. I would say it’s not as safe as KidzNet, Grom Social, etc. but it is pretty safe, if u are 13 and above, then it will be safe for u, I know I’m only 10, I’m not allowed to have Pinterest, but I use my moms phone while she watches me use it.

I use pinterest quite often- it's really helpful for me, since having visual collections of images is a good way to inspire/remind me of things lol. Personally I've never used it as a social media, but people can comment on pins. It's generally pretty good on finding pins you like based on what you've previously searched/saved, and it's super easy to hide pins you don't like. So I'd say it's pretty safe  

I really think it's worth signing up for if you need help looking for images/want to keep all your images in one place without downloading them. I use it almost daily lol.
