So, my best friend is getting surgery on both legs today, and she can't go to school for the rest of the year. She is going to be in a wheelchair for 3 - 4 weeks, and I don't know how to approach her on texts about it without sounding selfish. I also kind of wish it was me because that same friend has had a terrible school year. She got COVID right before halloween and broke her arm in January. Can I just have advice on what to do and what would be nice if you were in this position or have been before?
