What will happen if kidztalk shuts down

I'm asking this question because Yahoo Answers (The biggest Q&A website) shut down recently. Anyways, will we be able to export our data?

KidzTalk is one of the more popular sections we have, so we have no plans to close it down. A lot of new features will be coming out that integrate KidzTalk into other parts of KidzSearch to make it even more active.

If it were to close we can export all your data, but it gets complicated because a lot of posts are related to other content as comments for a user. Another solution would be to just keep it always accessible (assuming the main site is active), but prevent further questions/comments until you can copy all the content you needed.  Again, we have no plans of shutting it down.
