My mom doesn't want me to read Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince *cries*

Question

Well, I really love harry potter, and I've read and watched till Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I started reading Harry Potter when I was 9, and now I'm 10. I really wanna read the next book in harry potter.

Why is my mom not allowing me to read the next book!? She says it has adult content. But, but, I've never been disturbed by content in Harry Potter! Pls reply saying why my mom is saying NO.

I read it when I was 10 and I seriously regret it. It was kinda scary, and depending how old you are, you might want to wait. TRUST your parents. My dad made a deal with me and so I read a huge Sherlock Holmes volume before I could read Harry Potter 6.

It's very dark, I don't know about adult content but there is romance stuff and it's a scarier harry potter movie.

Honestly, I think I was that age when o read that. But I definitely understand why your mother won’t allow you to. It gets quite dark towards the end of the series. It is understandable that she wants you to wait a bit. And anyway, you’ll enjoy it more if you wait until you’re older.

Yeah, it does it get pretty dark, but if your mom said wait till your 12, then how old are you now?
