I'd change this to SHOW her that you're trustworthy enough to have sleepovers again. Ask her what you can do to prove that you are trustworthy enough to go. She might say you just can't, but parents are always watching to see that they can trust you.

You can show them that you are trustworthy by doing your chores when they tell you to or behaving as they want you to (even though it's annoying sometimes). As you mature (and she sees that you are trustworthy enough again), she will let you have sleepovers.

Hey everyone! I need some real, honest guy and girl opinions on my situation. I’m in 6th grade (going into 7th) and live in Texas. This guy "Billy" and I have known each other since 3rd grade because our moms work at the same place, so we walk together to their building on Fridays.

Lately, there has been a massive rumor at school that he likes me. His friends even cornered us at the park because they literally thought we were secretly dating! I asked him about it directly and he said "no," but his actions are super confusing.

Here is the exact list of hints for BOTH sides. Please look at the evidence and tell me what you think!

Signs he does like me:

The Secret Friday Routine: At the beginning of the year, we went to Sonic once. On the way back, HE suggested making it a permanent routine every single Friday because it was "fun." He kept this a total secret from his friends so they wouldn't tease him.
The PE Hallway Confession: My best friend asked his friend Aiden if Billy liked me, and Aiden said yes. Later, I asked Aiden directly in the hallway. Aiden turned red, took a huge drink of water, grinned, blurted out "yeah he texted me," and ran away so he wouldn't get busted by Billy.
The 5-Minute Bike Shows: For two weeks, he rode a bike in circles on the sidewalk for at least 5 minutes. He told me he was going to try a trick to show me, and then almost crashed into me, and panicked yelling "oh shoot!" His friends didn't know about this either.
The Scooter Fabrication: I told him I wanted an E-scooter next year. Weeks later, he claimed he actually had one, but his mom later revealed to my mom that he isn't even getting one. He totally made it up.

Signs he does NOT like me

His Confident "No": When I asked him about the rumor, he looked away/down, shook his head, and confidently said "no."
The Loud Public Denial: The day after his friends cornered us, he walked up to his guy group and was like, "Guys, I don't like her," (this might’ve been done to like throw me off, but Idk)
The Phone Shield & Short Answers: A while before the park drama, he started getting really quiet at Sonic. Now, he often gives short answers and just stares at his phone while walking behind me or at the same pace.
He (Probably) Doesn't Think This Deep: Things like calling my name to explain a topic or riding a bike on the sidewalk might just be random, normal 6th-grade behavior, not a deep strategy to impress me.
Just Being Polite: Our moms work together, so he might just be trying to be nice and polite to keep the peace, since he has known me since 3rd grade anyway.

I was in twirling baton, in band, and in cross country

I took APUSH freshman year, idk why but i passed the class(the test I cannot say the same)

pay attention- ik everybody tells you that, but once you get into the habit then it'll be so much better, cuz I unfortunately didn't and I struggled sophomore year, I was zoning out and missed instructions and learning from my teachers. We still ball tho(ended algebra 2 with a 101)

so yea I took geometry in 9th and I literally don't know HOW I passed that class, my teacher got a divorce mid year and by the end of it, she literally couldn't teach like it didn't make sense, but I kept getting Like 92's so it would all average out to an A. the rest was easy

Ask for help-this is the year where you need to actually get comfortable asking for help, literally don't be scared, I took my computer class that year, and I literally just asked him and he would lwk do the code for me but I mean I learned for next time

make friends and talk to people- make so many new friends, idk if you're like going to a highschool where it's 9-12, at my town it's jrhigh 8-9 and then highschool 10-12, but either way make friends with new people and ENJOY your friendships, not to scare y'all but the thing about friendships coming apart or distancing is real, at least in my case

Get good grades/take care of that gpa- the most important thing is just focus on grades, freshman year will build the foundation for your GPA. I know so many people who slacked off freshman year and tried to lock in later on and have failed horribly because it simply just was done for. Especially if you are trying into a decent college. Freshman year isn't that hard, just do the homework, learn, and study(find quizlets, listen to music, make flashcards, ask for study guides), do well on tests. There is also a highschool sweatflation, everybody just has good grades and like 3.7+ gpas and do like every club they possibly can, but no sweat because just do what you can, and it's much more impressive if you have leadership rather than just membership, which you can build up later on in highschool.

do extra credit- I regret it SO MUCH not doing it. I think I did it once or twice. but in my school, the library did something where if you did a book Talk, they would give you a pass to give to a teacher to add 5 points to any grade, and you could do it 3 times for a class. I don't know why I didn't take advantage cuz my grades would've been over 100's bruh. But anyways take advantage of those opportunities.

Make sure you are getting your credits- start making sure your getting your health, fine arts, computer science, oral com, credits. I know if there are certain classes that you don't wanna drop like a sport, so you'll have to work your way around it.

start thinking of a type of career- I know high school has fun classes like a cooking class, or family consumer science and you can take care of a baby, but also look into maybe like a class that could help you figure out what your interested. Maybe take an accounting class, or a engineering class, broadcasting, digital media, etc

oh and DONT go for that junior/senior, trust bro, don't do it. If you can just dodge relationships as a whole, but your choice too.

have fun- freshman year isn't THAT demanding, so don't stress yourself out and it'll be alr.

make sure you are taking care of your self mentally and physically. Go to football games, hangout w friends, make freshman boxes/time capsules, do other events outside of school when your work is done.

You could try only having one social media app like Instagram for example. Then have your parents put controls on ur phone so you can only be on the app for a certain amount of time. Then with your free time, you could do more exercise like going on a run, or playing a sport. If that's not ur thing try to draw (on paper) or read more. Also u said that u don't have a lot of friends, but when they are around invite them to do something.

okay im only like 26 days late to answering this post lol

but i think a lot of it is just your hormones figuring things out. pretty much just your body keeping you clean and healthy.

but bc its a natural part of your cycle you cant necessarily do much to 'prevent' eventually it will start to sort itself out as your body matures, and your hormone cycle starts to even out. anyways cant really prevent it but there are ways to keep it more comfortable.

ex, only wearing 100% cotton underwear,

and deff only use unsented soaps and cleansers, and using scented ones can make irritation and discharge worse. outside only. your girlie is self cleaning. so only water for that.

staying hydrated will help too, as well as tracking your period, and knowing when your going to start, and when to expect everything during your period

lmk if u want any more tips. i have a couple more but am running out of time as i type this!

So one random day i muster up the courage to email my crush "hey" and to my surprise she responds. From their we continue getting to know each other better and after talking to her for the entire week, the next week i get nothing. No responses and i hardly have time to talk to her during the day. Not to vent, I don’t mean this as one, not after the one and only vent I did use my username with, but were pretending that didn’t happen—

A girl in my school who bullied me in fourth grade is in my new class(I switched classes, remember?), and she’s making fun of me again. But since she’s popular, so are her friends, and now I’m being bullied again. They keep asking personal questions, and then making fun of or yelling at me for saying anything, so I’m shutting down like I did in second grade and I don’t talk to anyone. They even started throwing pencils and papers at the my head, and hit my eye!

And to be honest, I don’t care too much about all that until it involves physical harm, but they, and by they, I mean the main girl learned I got SA’d by demon, and now she makes fun of me for it? Not only makes fun of it, but defends him, and also gets close to me when I don’t like people touching me BECAUSE OF THAT. She’ll scoot really close to my desk, or lay her arms at her side but extremely near my legs and thighs, which is a major trigger, and genuinely makes me panic. And overall, I’m starting to feel really unsafe and uncomfortable at school.

of course, however, I can’t go about reporting her bc one of my friends is friends with her, and the school does nothing about bullying.

On the bright side, I’m changing schools next year.
