Ima 7th grader and my biggest tip is to take care of yourself:

-moisturize after washing (this keeps your skin from drying)

-wash face twice daily to prevent zits/pimples (tho you’ll prolly get those more in 7th grade)

-brush your hair (Style it if u want)

-shower daily (wash hair every other day and wash body every day)

But lemme tell you smth: beauty standards are sooooo inconsistent. for example in Mauritiana a fitness star would have no chance of getting a man because they believe “the bigger the better”. Women are literally eating over 5000 calories per day on AVERAGE. And in Tajikistan, unibrows which are considered ugly in the uk, USA etc. are considered so gorgeous that women who do not have this feature are literally drawing them on with eyebrow pencils just to fit the standards. This just goes to show that what may be considered ugly in one country could be considered beautiful in another.. beauty standards change, but your personality typically doesn’t change with them. Be the person you want to be (personality wise)

I'd change this to SHOW her that you're trustworthy enough to have sleepovers again. Ask her what you can do to prove that you are trustworthy enough to go. She might say you just can't, but parents are always watching to see that they can trust you.

You can show them that you are trustworthy by doing your chores when they tell you to or behaving as they want you to (even though it's annoying sometimes). As you mature (and she sees that you are trustworthy enough again), she will let you have sleepovers.

You could try only having one social media app like Instagram for example. Then have your parents put controls on ur phone so you can only be on the app for a certain amount of time. Then with your free time, you could do more exercise like going on a run, or playing a sport. If that's not ur thing try to draw (on paper) or read more. Also u said that u don't have a lot of friends, but when they are around invite them to do something.

Literally no one cares, in my high school at least. In my last class period a (popular and well liked guy) was literally openly watching HunterXHunter. It's perfectly fine to share your interests in the first place. In my experience, people like you better if you are confidently able to just own your interest.

So one random day i muster up the courage to email my crush "hey" and to my surprise she responds. From their we continue getting to know each other better and after talking to her for the entire week, the next week i get nothing. No responses and i hardly have time to talk to her during the day. Also in my excitement i had told one of my buddies i liked her. To my avail he liked her too and he said he would back off but, im not sure he did. That next week i saw him talking to her. He had her laughing and smiling. He was teasing her. Im not sure what to do since i felt so betrayed that ive neglected talking to her and unsure to talk to her again. Even if i do pursue it im not going to be able to keep it since we are going to different high schools. I think i should better myself first before finding a girl. so im really insecure about my eyebrows and i recently got micro bangs, which in my opinion, i look terrible in. im convinced its because of my eyebrows. one looks too full and uneven, and i just really hate them. so, because most of my actions are impulsive, i did the most stupidest thing ever. i tried to cut a bit of the excess eyebrow at the top, which ended up looking HORRIBLE, and im really scared that its noticeable, so heres a photo- lemme know if it is

the thing abt glow ups is that u need to be very consistent through it (even if its hard to)

just saying the basics of the glow up like for ur natural beauty, u should try to stay as clean as possible, and avoid touching ur face with dirty hands, clean ur nails daily and file them weekly, drink enough water (very important for clear skin and hydrated naturally pink lips), and try not to eat soft drinks (also very important!) and have a clean pillowcase (dirty pillowcase causes acne, clean ur pillowcase weekly) and make sure to use scalp oil on weekends for ur hair ^^

also make sure to clean ur outfit after wearing it the other day, and iron them everyday too! this is very important

glowing up mentally is just knowing how to be yourself, how to do things you like instead of following popular trends, and patience.

doing yoga and exercises in the morning is a super good habit, also try to skip caffeine!
