I won FIRST PLACE in my event

and am a national qualifier

I was praying sm and was so freaking happy

my first year in fbla and qualified for my first ever NLC

dream come true

texas isn't ready for me

no but seriously I had fun, uh lwk didn't network cuz I was js walking around LR the whole time

but lwk i'll tell yall

SLC breakdown

day 1:

0 networking done, food eaten, money wasted, lots of walking

I said I was gonna interview ppl, but didn't

ppl asked where we were from

changed, went shopping

day 2:

received my award

took pics

went to eat

ok story time

so my friends wanted to go that one restaurant with the owl(idk if I can say cuz idk)

idk if they were being goofy but I js followed cuz like i've been there before with family and nothing ever weird has happened...

so then like three seniors followed, and we sat together and we were 6 girls total

the waitress seated us and everything was ok

but it was actually a mistake bruh

my friends were joking about how two men were prob regulars and then

I had to go to the bathroom to wash my hands after eating

I had to walk past the bar and felt weird...my friend followed and she said she felt that too.

when we walked back she said that she saw a man staring us down. I was like weirded out but looked behind me and was deadahh staring no shame at our direction. i was like oh nah we gotta go

so I started getting my purse and ready to pay til my friend like pulled me cuz she saw that he was staring at my butt...

then from the other direction another man was staring at us

I honestly felt really uncomfortable and so we told the seniors and left as soon as we could

honestly I felt weird and nasty after that like what the heck bro

but I js rode go carts and felt better, only bad part about the trip.

except for this one girl, I genuinely don't like her, like I took pics cuz i'm trying to be nice and she posts me on her story like no I am NOT ur friend, hate her hate her hate her. she's so annoying, like she has zero social cues, her voice annoys me, even her face annoys me

So today i went on a trip with my hispanic heritage club. We went to the capital and to a theater to see the hispanic flameco ballet so like I was out of town and stuff. When it ended we drove more up and there is this shopping center and we went to eat there, i ate chick-fil-a with my friends and then we went to Kohl's

while i'm coming out of koh'ls i get a little behind my two friends cuz im like scraping the last pieces of ice(i love chewing on ice) and then throw away my cup

when a car then slows down and the passenger window goes down and its a guy who says

I had to write about which pillar I think describes me(there's character, leadership, scholarship, and service)

From the four pillars of The National Honor Society, I feel that I best exemplify Service. I feel that it represents how I choose to use my time with school and the community around me. I love to be involved in school and take the opportunities given to me. I see it as a good way to connect with people and meet new people as well. Helping and volunteering is also a way to get myself out there and try new things. I have found personal growth within contributing to service with people around me. I am in various clubs/extracurriculars in which they all have or work on an event for school. I strive to be responsible and a person for people to depend on. I am also in the MS tutoring program because the idea of my skills benefiting kids who need help is something I love. I’ve learned that with these acts of service, do not always expect to be rewarded and think that the good deed is your reward. I personally aim to contribute in any possible way I can use my knowledge to make a difference around me. Service challenged me to see how a little part can contribute a lot to the bigger outcome. Each service I do reminds me of the responsibility in my hands and in the great effort I will make to achieve the most success. I love participating and giving it all in everything I do, whether it’s band, FBLA, or helping my parents out with their business. I told myself, i'm so done taking AP's, like I made a 2 on my APUSH, i'll admit that y'all, and for AP world, lwk don't know how i'll do cuz I HATE LEQ's AND DBQ's, quite literally wrote two paragraphs and sat there. my brain was fried.

BUT

I then and go sign up for like three more AP's

so far this is what my schedule is looking like.

AP Lang(might change to AP seminar? if I want that capstone diploma)

PreCal(uhh never thought I would sign up for this, lwk was thinking about quantitative reasoning, but uhm my counselor said its good since I wanna go into business)(BRO I already am drowning in Algebra 2, somebody save me)

AP environmental science(yea so I was deciding between this or AP chemistry, I don't wanna be doing more math tbh)

AP Macroeconomics- BRO OKAY IM SO CONFLICTED I NEED HELP

I could take this AP and continue with AP Gov ORRRRRRRRRRRR

lwk forgot about this place for a bit but honestly y'all life has gotten so busy

ok so first thing is I somehow made all region

my audition was actually bad, I messed up so bad on my prepared music but uhm after that I didn't rlly give a gaf fr if I made it or not

but yay? i'll get to see bari sax huzz

tbh i'm so done with band bro, everybody is quitting, its so sad, but my friend is begging me to stay, idk if I wanna do til senior year, she wants me to...but i'll do for my junior year, since that's our big trip year.

anyways did I tell yall i'm a mentor/tutor?

yea I joined this one program that they are offering, where high school students go on Mondays, since we start an hour early, so i'm sacrificing my sleep but who cares, and we go and tutor or mentor middle school kids

i'm lwk excited and nervous, today we met with the principal and he wanted to know about us and he asked for like our interests or extracurriculars/clubs we're in so he could use that to match us up with the kids.

this one guy in particular, a junior btw.

"I founded this tutorting organization, i'm the president of educators rising, i'm ELA certified, i'm blah certified, i'm smth certified, i'm the vice president of blah blah, i'm head coordinator or blah blah, i'm in robotics, blah blah, I'm in three cheer teams, I coach two smth teams, I coach 5 other sports" THE LIST GOES ON, 3% of what he said btw

anyways I also am apart of the ensemble for my school's musical The Music Man, kinda did it on a whim, I wanted to try new things and here I am, I convinced michimi to join me too.

Things my family does on new years

My family does some things for good luck/superstitions

ik other ppl do this as well so anyways here we go

First this one is kinda like tied in with Christmas, but on our tree, we put decorations that represent what we want for the next year

This year I put money decoration cuz I wanna work more and save up, a suitcase cuz u wanna travel more ofc, and a car because I wanna learn how to drive by next year and have my own car.

Okay

1) we dress in red or gold/yellow

This is for whatever you want in the next year

Like wear red if you want love for the new year or. Gold/yellow for good fortune aka moneyyy

I always wear gold or yellow cuz yea

It’s even luckier if you wear undergarments of that color

So yea

2) Eat 12 grapes at midnight

Someone always buys the grapes and gives everybody a cup with 12 grapes

Adult, child, big or small

We all do it

And no, whatever you see online, isn’t true

It’s not to manifest a lover or wtv

We do it before or after midnight. But close

And each grape is a wish

So as your eating one grape you are making one wish for the new year

3) lentils/rice

My mom believes and actually it is believed that lentils are good luck for money

I even throw some on the cars every week

So the aunts go and give/ration a bit of lentils and rice to everybody in the family

You save this in ur pocket or whatever, but when you arrive home, you put the lentils or rice in wherever you store your money for luck

I keep mine in my piggy bank(I’ve had it since I was a child and my mom doesn’t let me smash it)

Or put it in ur wallet or wtv

4) new year resolutions/prayer

My parents mostly do this

But we write down what we want in the new year

My dad is more religious so he writes in down in more of a prayer to God.

I do it too ish but more in a list kind of way I guess

But then we fold it up and hide it in the tree for good luck and then when we come back form celebration, we store it somewhere special

I store mine in my piggy bank with my money

5) cleanliness

We always clean and make sure our house is neat

It is good luck to enter the year with a fresh and clean space (although this year it’s lwk messy, ig that means I will have to be the one to clean tonight )

6) pray

No matter how religious everyone in my family is

Some don’t go to church, some do

We all somewhat or a lot believe in God

So we all pray together before 12

For our future, for our family, for our prosperity and peace and what is to come

For God to keep blessing us and help us keep pushing through and giving us motivation and strength to keep working

Anyways

I think that’s it

I may be missing smth

But that’s the major thing

I’m lwk scared

I feel like I’m not prepared for the new year

I wanna start journaling again tbh

And uhm I just wanna have fun

2025 taught me a lot of things and now I really do wanna try so much things and yeah

Freak my freaking chungus life againnnn

Uhm idk if yall want a haul also ngl Christmas this year was kinda boring

I played that one imposter game with my cousins for the first time…..oh lord we suck, cuz it was so obvious who was was it

Anyways I think it was Saturday, I was left alone, lwk don’t know where my parents left

Oh and I helped wash and clean cars with my parents and they paid me

Anyways I decided to go on ome cuz I was bored of watching tv

Someone peed in everyone’s Cheerios cuz ppl were mean as freak on there bruh

I got these 12 yr olds and they were like “uhhhh why do we keep getting the Spanish people“

HELP

A swipe would’ve sufficed but okay….

Lwk why was i getting bullied by white ppl bro

I don’t rlly care cuz the ones saying rude/racist stuff were actually chopped

But then when I get the girls, NICEST PPL EVER

And lwk it was like “no ur stunning don’t believe what they say”

But it was getting late and I was like so done til I got these two friends and in the bottom you can see what country right?

And I saw Peru

I was like no way!! And asked “are yall from Peru?”

And they were like yeah, and one friend was like except me, I’m from Ukraine

But Oml his Spanish was PERFECT

He definitely grew up there, cuz he even had that Peruvian accent

and they tried talking to me in English and I’m like “I KNOW Spanish yall” and they were like my bad, I wanna feel american

But they were actually the funniest and chilliest ppl I’ve met on there

They started asking me about life in the “United States of america“

And I asked about life in Peru

It was like one of those moments where you are like taken back and really think about the difference in day to day life and the normal for others

And they were like everybody here dreams with the “American dream“

I laughed

And they didn’t make fun of my Spanish, cuz I can speak it but like.. sometimes my pronunciation is weird with some words

And I have a Christmas haul and they said “no pero si tú eres millonaria”

Basically calling me rich

I said nooo, don’t think this is the normal for everybody cuz it isn’t

And I think it was the Louis Vuitton perfume that shocked them cuz they searched it up

And they said I think the most expensive thing I have is my wallet

GUYS I TALKED TO THEM FOR OVER AN HOUR

I lwk forgot I was in this site and it felt more like a FaceTime call

They were actually nice people

And the Ukrainian boy taught me some Russian, something like “I love you” or smth, I forgot,

I told him how it’s difficult for my dad and he said same cuz they can’t got back cuz it would be bad since his dad evaded going to the military.

Guys ngl HE WAS FINE

He was rlly cute bro

He had like short brown hair and brown eyes

like genuinely FORGET anything I said about anyone before

And they were telling about smth and then I was just sitting up when my FREAKING FINGER DID SMTH SND ACCIDENTALLY SWIPED ON THEM

So first

I got a LV perfume in stellar times

I already have one but I’m halfway through it and so I said why not

They lwk give me a big ahh box just for one perfume but they also game me two tiny samples more

I also got this because my parents always get mad that I don’t get enough stuff or “take advantage of them” while I stiff have them but like

Idk then my mom gets mad at me when I have a lot of clothes I don’t wear like huh? You literally want me to buy buy buy and now ur mad?

Next is this perfume oil from uae AND IT SMELLS SO FREAKIN GOOD

Next is clothes from hollister

I got a red tank

Then two sweatpants(I already wore the dark blue one)

Then a cute tube babydoll top but I put on the straps cuz yea

And then two low rise bootcut jeans

Then I got one shirt from Las Vegas and a hoodie too(I already wore the shirt lol)

I also got a perfume from rue 21, the one in my town for closed down and I hadn’t had this since like 5th grade so I had to get it

It smells like vanilla and sweet

Then I got a K necklace from my sister which I’m so happy for cuz I’ve always wanted one and I wear it like everyday now and also a bracelet

Then I got some Nike shoes

Idk my parents kind of talked me into getting them

AND FINALLY

my secret Santa gift

My secret Santa was my best friend

She already knew what I wanted and even tried to get things mint/teal colored

I got a blanket some peelez, face masks, lip masks, a lash serum, lotion, Versace perfume, and a claw clip

I’m so thankful for her

ngl I loved my freshman year

like 9th grade was so freaking fun and peak

like my life was js better then

I have so much pics and I compare the ones from like a year ago today and you can see i'm so happy

I have so many pics with friends at functions and stuff

I wish I could like photo dump but idk, I don't think so, i'd have to have like a bunch of black scribbles in every pic

tmrw is the Christmas parade, which is big in our town, and other towns come to see it, so its the biggest one yet

uh and I have to freaking march

oh take me back, last year I was in my holiday sweater and twirling my baton

this year i'll be in my uniform and dinkles

and they are taking about majorettes next year so this is great

I miss those days tho

the only thing that was like big was

when a senior randomly dropped the biggest lore that our majorette coach was in jail and potentially....well for reasons, right before our last FB performance

that rocked our world, so she was fired obviously and uhm after that, we were on our own

anyways
