1) Yes you need to speak English to fully go through the naturalization process (which first off is a stupid requirement since some of the people coming in are coming from countries lacking in education) but my point still stands, you shouldn't be deported just for not being able to speak english. In my very limited perusing of some searching ive seen a range of it being used for any middle class owner of property for example, a home owner

however i have also seen that it is for more of the upper middle class and those who have larger quantities of wealth and control such as landlords pr factory / business owners

Yet all of these sources describe the bergeouis as middle class and not as the elites so it makes me wonder why use it in that way

we both think people, especially in more developing countries, tend to vote based more on tangible promises and results (eg less crime) over ideological beliefs, which complicates the already fuzzy divide and overlap between the sides of the aisle.

Here people got sick and tired of ideologies and the politicians who use them

There is an overwhelming tendency to prefer a discourse that feels more autoctone and a practical approach to action (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)

And yes the overlap is there, there is also an almost general impression that progressive parties make much better opposition than leaders, and a satisfaction with the overall result of that dynamic

Soooo, a bunch of kids from my school were planning on leaving school after 6th period to go to the high school which wasn't very far away, and protest against ICE, EVERY EXIT THERE WAS AN ADULT BLOCKING IT. Except the Library, which i'm assuming there was the librarian in there or smth. There was a SECURITY OFFICER HIRED TO WATCH THE FRONT OF THE SCHOOL.

My friend told me at lunch "If ICE comes there and tries to arrest you, just ask for your attourney and don't say anything else."

I would've said "I KNOW MY RIGHTS, I DONT CARE IF IM A MINOR"
