Purpose

I posted this back in 2019, when all the boys and girls of KT were competing to get the most answers separately. At its core, this post was made to unite everyone. Since then, it's evolved and has been edited hundreds of times. After breaking the record for most answers in 2019, we broke the record for most upvotes around 2020, and most views in 2024. I am still active and updating this post 6 years later.

Hello! A lot of people don't really know what a therian really is! No hate please!

A therian is someone who identifies as a non-human animal in a NONPHYSICAL way, a lot of the time it’s spiritual. Having a connection has nothing to do with therianothropy. A connection is otherhearted, like a very strong connection with such animal(s). Some therians have shifts, there are many types of shifts, a shift is when you aren't your usual self and your theriotype is taking over kinda (if u can tell im struggling because ive never had a shift myself yet). *hint can someone pls explain shifts better in the comments*. But you dont have to have shifts to be a therian. Also being a therian is NOT a religion! It can be spiritual, and lots of other ways to enerpret it, but it is not a religion! Being a therian is also not a choice! Although wearing a gear is a choice and quads are usually a choice being a therian itself isnt. You CAN leave the therian community and try to drift away from your theriotype and you can almost stop being a therian and it probably wont bother you again, but there will always be a small part of you that is a therian. Also having a past live and being a therian are two different things. I can have a past life of being a cat and not be a cat therian. (I'm not a cat therian that was an example). Also wearing gear does not mean you are a therian! You can wear gear and not be a therian, you can not wear gear and be a therian. The same is with quadrobics. The reason there are common theriotypes (cat, wolf, ect.) is because they are exposed to those animals a lot in early stages of life. They are also very common animals in general so it would make sense that they are common in therians as well. Sometimes you don't really know your theriotype and that is okay! You just know that you are something not human and that you are a therian! There is really no full explanation of what being a therian is but this was the best I could do. The Problem...

The internet is already full of AI slop. In fact, around 50 percent of all content on the internet is AI slop, generated by Clankers. YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok are teeming with soulless AI content, from voice-overs to fully generated videos. X (Twitter) is filled with bots who abuse their checkmarks to fill the top comments section with unrelated videos. Seemingly every company is pointlessly inserting AI into their products just to appeal to investors. Besides being a safe place for kids, KidzTalk was unique for resisting this trend. I love that this platform is essentially a snapshot of early 2010s internet, and this addition makes KT seem soulless. Also, this bot is gonna farm points like CRAZY. It will probably pass every user on the leaderboard in a week. It's in all of our best interests to kill it, looking at you Corvette.

If you agree with me, sign the petition to remove KidzBot below. KS is unlikely to remove the feature. However, you can still help out by using the KidzSlop tag on posts, or by commenting "KidzSlop" under any answers left by KidzBot. It's that time again...

KidzTalk Wrapped

2025 was a big year for KidzTalk. In fact, it was the biggest year yet. Roughly 31,700 questions have been asked in 2025 (so far), accounting for around 42 percent of posts on the site.

This past year, we've seen the rise of Corvette, Kedi, Cat_Cat, Ricky, DogLiver, Booker, BitKit, Grizz, GB, dtrippy, LB, bootleg, and so many more. We witnessed the spectacular rise and fall of CorvetteFan1982, who went from the site's most popular user to an outcast in the blink of an eye. Cat-Go-BOOM hit its peak in January, followed by Kedi kingdom midway through the year. This year, six users hit 1 million points (not in order): Nobodyimportant, Corvette, Kedi, Carly, Cat_Cat, and Ricky. That brought the total of millionaires on the site from 2 to 8. Three people hit an unprecedented 2 million points: yours truly, Nobodyimportant, and Corvette. BitKit was also named KidzTalk president.

What's the lore behind it?
So, as you guys know, my username is @Hermione_Sparkle I wanted to choose Hermione_Sparkle as my username because, well, first off, we all know Hermione is a character from Harry Potter, her full name is Hermione Granger, but then HER FULLLLL name is Hermione Jean Granger.
So, I originally wanted the last part of my username to be a surname from one of the Harry Potter characters. But then I decided, maybe it can be something else. So, the reason my username surname is 'Sparkle' is because I was inspired by Twilight Sparkle's name from my little pony :D! So, I decided I'd be 'Hermione_Sparkle' and I just wanted to start off with my username being Hermione because well, I LOVE HERMIONE GRANGER! OH I WISH HOW I COULD BE HER FRIEND... SHE COULD HELP ME WITH ALL MY HOMEWORK!

just wanna educate y'all on something real quick

recently there has been this "trend" per say

and i've fallen victim to it when a group of little white boys looked me and then proceeded to ask me to say "dude".

now if you don't know, there has been a bunch of memes and videos making fun of latinas who have the Chicana accent when they say 'dude' and basically stereotyping us all as "hot Cheeto girls" or wtv

so now what I wanna say is that I feel that it's racist.

if you are white then I don't think you get to decide whether it is or not because you aren't affected

and why i feel this way:

-not every latina sounds like that

-it reduces me to a stereotype

-they are only asking latinas this to then mock and laugh at them

-After I said 'dude'(which I don't have the accent) they said no say it longer like 'duuuude' or say it 'the latina way', which shows me that they just want me to fit into a stereotype for their amusement

I don't care if it's "just a joke" it's still mean

I don't owe anyone a performance just cuz of my ethnicity

sometimes I feel like people just have one idea of Latino people and think everyone else is the same and just flow with that

like we are people too and have different interests and styles just like everybody else

we aren't all the same bruh, there are a bunch of countries and diversity.

I remember I saw a vid on a girl speaking out about it and all the people who were saying "it's not a big deal" were white, like ok...sure.

i don't know but I'm finding it harder and harder to find decent people nowadays

have y'all seen that group patriot front? yea that says a lot...."lets reclaim the US"

Hello, I am 13 years old and my name is Ellie. My mom refuses to let me get a phone! My dad is okay with it but my mom refuses every time I ask her. I do extracurricular activities, and she has been late more than once. I wait outside by myself with nobody there, I keep telling her this is dangerous, but she still says no! At this point, we get into fights and now I honestly think she's doing it just to prove something to herself that she can parent right or whatever. I am so responsible with everything I do! I am a straight A student and good at sports. I do what they ask, and am never demanding. I have younger siblings, and I am forced to babysit them, too. I know for a fact they are not struggling financially, my siblings get expensive toys all the time! And for goodness sake, I got such expensive stuff for Christmas which I am grateful for over the moon. But that's not the point. I am the only one without a phone, and I am so left out. I am starting to get teased for it and I can't talk to my friends. They won't even get me a flip phone for crying out loud! I can only talk to 2 people I know who have emails, but I didn't even get an email till I turned 13!! I am so left out, and I can't even talk to my closest friends who have moved away. I'm very sad, so please help!

If you don't wanna be in this country, hate it, and have no desire to remain in it, don't act like you're proud to be an American.

I understand why a lot of people are not proud of this country right now. We have an extremely controversial president who is quite unlikable (as a Christian, him making himself appear equal to Jesus soured my view on him a lot), we are in conflict, our people are divided, we are doing a lot of controversial things, and we have just lost the plot as a peoples atp.

But, in spite of all of this, I am still a proud American. I love my country; I do not agree with or necessarily like all of the things our government is doing, but I love this country and I would gladly die to protect the people in it and the ideals it was founded on.

I love how we came to be by defeating a superpower, immediately telling everyone in the world "WE'RE HERE AND WE DON'T PLAN ON LEAVING!".

I love how we ended slavery for good in the US.

I love how we became a great power.

I love how we played a big part in the world wars and won.

I love how we tried our best to defeat communism and (eventually and mostly) succeeded.

I may not be proud of everything this country has done or is doing, but I love my country and I would not want to live anywhere else.

Respect the flag, it isn't some sort of protest prop and burning it says a lot about your character.

You do not have to love what the USA is doing or has done, but you should still love the USA.

100 times out of 100, I am choosing the US.

Foods to avoid while they are trying to contain the outbreak:

The primary culprit identified by the FDA and CDC is shredded iceberg lettuce sourced from Mexico.

Apperantley it started at Taco Bell, but good thing that it isn't contagious from person to person.

Prevention

Because the parasite is seasonal (peaking in the summer) and often imported on raw, fresh foods, washing all produce thoroughly and washing your hands before preparing food are your best preventative measures.
