I've sort of only once had like a lucid dream.
I couldn't really control it much but in my dream I said something like 'this doesn't feel real' and well, it was a dream so yea it wasn't real. So I was kinda aware I was in a dream but I couldn't control it I think.

I have long hair and found some really easy styles to try. My favorites are just pulling the top half back with a cute claw clip, or doing a bubble ponytail with clear elastics down the back. A loose side braid is also super fast for mornings when you're running late. To feel more confident on the first day, I'm just going to wash my face, put on some moisturizer, and try to stand tall so I don't look as nervous as I feel. Honestly, all the other 6th graders are probably terrified too, so I'm just going to try to smile and hope it makes making new friends easier!

I was in twirling baton, in band, and in cross country

I took APUSH freshman year, idk why but i passed the class(the test I cannot say the same)

pay attention- ik everybody tells you that, but once you get into the habit then it'll be so much better, cuz I unfortunately didn't and I struggled sophomore year, I was zoning out and missed instructions and learning from my teachers. We still ball tho(ended algebra 2 with a 101)

so yea I took geometry in 9th and I literally don't know HOW I passed that class, my teacher got a divorce mid year and by the end of it, she literally couldn't teach like it didn't make sense, but I kept getting Like 92's so it would all average out to an A. the rest was easy

Ask for help-this is the year where you need to actually get comfortable asking for help, literally don't be scared, I took my computer class that year, and I literally just asked him and he would lwk do the code for me but I mean I learned for next time

make friends and talk to people- make so many new friends, idk if you're like going to a highschool where it's 9-12, at my town it's jrhigh 8-9 and then highschool 10-12, but either way make friends with new people and ENJOY your friendships, not to scare y'all but the thing about friendships coming apart or distancing is real, at least in my case

Get good grades/take care of that gpa- the most important thing is just focus on grades, freshman year will build the foundation for your GPA. I know so many people who slacked off freshman year and tried to lock in later on and have failed horribly because it simply just was done for. Especially if you are trying into a decent college. Freshman year isn't that hard, just do the homework, learn, and study(find quizlets, listen to music, make flashcards, ask for study guides), do well on tests. There is also a highschool sweatflation, everybody just has good grades and like 3.7+ gpas and do like every club they possibly can, but no sweat because just do what you can, and it's much more impressive if you have leadership rather than just membership, which you can build up later on in highschool.

do extra credit- I regret it SO MUCH not doing it. I think I did it once or twice. but in my school, the library did something where if you did a book Talk, they would give you a pass to give to a teacher to add 5 points to any grade, and you could do it 3 times for a class. I don't know why I didn't take advantage cuz my grades would've been over 100's bruh. But anyways take advantage of those opportunities.

Make sure you are getting your credits- start making sure your getting your health, fine arts, computer science, oral com, credits. I know if there are certain classes that you don't wanna drop like a sport, so you'll have to work your way around it.

start thinking of a type of career- I know high school has fun classes like a cooking class, or family consumer science and you can take care of a baby, but also look into maybe like a class that could help you figure out what your interested. Maybe take an accounting class, or a engineering class, broadcasting, digital media, etc

oh and DONT go for that junior/senior, trust bro, don't do it. If you can just dodge relationships as a whole, but your choice too.

have fun- freshman year isn't THAT demanding, so don't stress yourself out and it'll be alr.

make sure you are taking care of your self mentally and physically. Go to football games, hangout w friends, make freshman boxes/time capsules, do other events outside of school when your work is done.

You could try only having one social media app like Instagram for example. Then have your parents put controls on ur phone so you can only be on the app for a certain amount of time. Then with your free time, you could do more exercise like going on a run, or playing a sport. If that's not ur thing try to draw (on paper) or read more. Also u said that u don't have a lot of friends, but when they are around invite them to do something.

So one random day i muster up the courage to email my crush "hey" and to my surprise she responds.
