Do you ever seriously regret the conversations you had immediately after having them?

It's always the same for me when I'm talking to someone outside of my family circle. I spend at least ten minutes after conversations just dwelling on the things I should've done different: word choices and placement, topics, questions, etc.

I also finished my map for a book yeay !! I have an idea for the plot but. have no idea how the book should end. i want a plot twist. The problem with me writing plot twists is that I have a tendency to use Chekhov's Gun all the time so it's going to be hard for me to surprise the reader by the end of the book. aughgh.

Unrelated but I asked a friend to hang out with me sometime and I think he thought I was asking him on a date. lol.

I'm trying to learn how to write. I want to get better at writing stories, letters, essays, uH love letters ig haha, skywriting. I was looking through my old posts and found that old WoF fanfiction which was just based off of some OC lore. Some Really Really Edgy OC lore. It hurt to read that.

I come on here mainly for nostalgia purposes at this point haha. It's easy to forget about random sites you played when you were ten years old-

My brain is so very science fiction orientated atm. Like. My world revolves around Interstellar and Doctor Who now. Don't even mention Maze Runner to me unless you are prepared for a rant (NEWT <33333). My cousin dragged me into Starwars again so we've been watching TBB together (the characters are so awesome). Not sci-fi but Holes was a great movie, even better book.

Lots of things have happened this year! It's certainly one we will all remember (except probably me, I have the memory of a goldfish).

It's been so difficult in so many ways, with even the smallest things impacting our day-to-day lives.

In the stress, of course, things happen, even in the virtual corner of KidzTalk. There have been incidents, there have been arguments.

People have gone on hiatus and come back. We've said hello to the new KidzTalkers and bid farewell to dear friends.

So here's to a good new year. Here's to the friends it may bring. Here's to the beautiful art and stunning stories. Here's to the roleplays and the characters. Here's to the opportunity of the change.

I said I would return for a little bit around the holidays and then school hit me like a truck. So I'm coming back later than expected.

We moved houses and we're by a lake now so the mosquitoes are everywhere haha.

Yes, I'm still fixated on OneShot and the Dust Bowl, though not as much as before. I also found out how OneShot and Amazing World of Gumball are really similar just OneShot is more angsty shhhhh....

My friend forced told me to read Percy Jackson and uh... Riordan killed off all of my favorite characters in 39 Clues and I doubt he'll try to do any less to me now. *braces for impact*

I really like books written by the author Louis L'amour. I cannot express how much I love his books, specifically Last of the Breed. Currently I'm reading a book of his titled Sackett's Land and oH BARRENS I CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW GOOD IT IS-

My dad and I moved right near a park so now my life is occupied mainly with more art, random turtles and the Dust Bowl, geocaching, andhighschool

I have confirmed that algebra is evil

and that wof is harry potter (don't give me that look we all know that Qibli has that scar from when Voldemort Darkstalker tried to kill him as a dragonet)

I feel very doomed wagon train.

Small controlled tame obsession with historical/historical fiction specifically No Man's Land during the 1930's and the SS Pendleton and the SS Fort Mercer, not to mention European Naval affairs and the donner party any bibliography having to do with such obsessions.

The Finest Hours, Wargames, ROTTMNT, and that one documentary about the Dust Bowl is all I watch now.

[Haven't really posted anything on Lil Squad for awhile. Welp, it's actually quite unhealthy for me to juggle being active on three and one half platforms at once. I might be a little more inactive on here, unless I come crawling back as usual after two days. Still going to be commenting on things, but I'm not going to be posting much anymore.]

[Here's a quick update on my life:

We're moving houses. Within the area, at least. It's been moderately busy around these parts, but I still managed to weasle in time for this. I've been begging my dad on my hands and knees to get me a dog (because he doesn't like cats), and he says he'll think about it.]

[Remember that old WoF fanfiction? Ends Justify Means? If not, you can skip most of this paragraph. Honestly, I started Chapter Six and have not touched it since then. WoF is really only staying a fandom at this point because I'm arguably decent at drawing dragons, but I'm not obsessed with it at all anymore.]

[I'm mostly active on a coding platform called Scratch right now, and although KidzTalk has rules against sharing usernames (for good reasons), I'm sure you could find me if you look around enough.]

[I have new friends in real life, even a few rivals. A very large writing/art block has hit me, so I'm spending the time I would originally use to write stuff interacting with them.]

[It's been over one and a half years since I joined KidzNet, and a year since I joined KidzTalk, and although I'm not leaving, I feel like I've reached an odd kind of closure. I think I just need to walk away from it for awhile. Had a surreal experience at my aunt's house this morning. I wanted to reboot Lil Squad on a positive note, so here's one of my journal entries that inspired me:

Notice: Not only do your friends actually like you, they secretly like you twice as much as they let on.

An experience that made me feel much more assured in my friendships was at church, a friend and myself were talking about a third friend of ours and how cool and knowledgeable and smart she is and how we feel like we could never be that cool. The next day I was writing some stuff down when I was informed that these two aforementioned friends were having the same conversation about me. And it turns out we spent a lot of time thinking about our friends who aren't currently in the room and gushing over how cool and smart and talented they are without being able to say it to their face.

Your friends secretly love you a lot more than they already express, just like you love them so intensely that saying it all to their faces would sound clumsy to your own ears. Believe it.

Does Anyone Else Have This?

My brain has these levels of obsessions I can't even describe.

It's like I constantly NEED to talk about them and get upset if I'm not allowed to. I'm going to do my best to describe it to you, so hopefully someone can reassure me that I'm not alone :)

So there's the first level.

It's two things that I've always loved, and probably always will. I enjoy talking about it and find a way to weasle it into everything. It's like a massive umbrella over everything I enjoy and it's something I want to talk about constantly.

For me, it's dragons and glitches. (specifically Wings of Fire and glitchmon.)

...and ig httyd but we don't talk about that haha

Then there's the second level.

It's an obsession that lasts between 2-5 years. It's something I love to talk about and would talk about forever. It tends to be a film or a book that I need to talk about or else I feel trapped, like part of me is stuck inside myself.

At the moment for me it's the Ultimate Spiderman show (you're lucky I haven't infodumped about it on KT yet), 39 Clues, and Wingfeather. Previously it's been Eureka and Monk (the shows).

Then there's the third level.

It's something that I think heavily about for anywhere between 2 weeks and 6 months. It's something I enjoy focusing on, but I don't need to talk about. It's just something I enjoy thinking about.

For some reason, I've been absolutely hooked on poetry and literature. Not "books". Literature. Shakespeare and such. And poetry is underrated. Previously it's been meteorology and astronomy.
