So, I'm drawing this thing for 3RA's 100K art contest, and I'm attempting to draw Hawks, okay, but man... HE HAS SO MUCH FLIPPING HAIR!! Like oml. All the lines and strands and shading and UGHHHHH. Part of me gets so mad cause it doesn't look natural, so I want to rip it up, but I never do because I've currently worked about 43 hours on this man trying to get shapes right.

I just wanted to get it off my chest. It's hard to talk about, but I lost my best friend to suicide a while back. His birthday was today. I went and visited him. It was really hard. I talked to him for hours. Filled him in on my life. I told him about some of my new friends. And I told him about KT. I bought him his favorite video game character as a pop figure for his birthday. I know he would've loved it. He would've been 15. We could've had several more years together, but we don't. And I'm trying to accept that. I can't help but think, "If it's been years and I still miss him, how would I feel if I lost my best friend right now?" But I know the answer to that question.

Do you know the answer? For those who struggle a lot with depression and the thoughts that plague us, ask yourself "How would I feel if I lost my best friend?" (Or family member, or something) If you would feel negative emotions, imagine how they would feel if they lost you. Just something to think about

Part 2! I'm gonna try posting a bunch today since I'll be outta town tomorrow AND Friday. Don't miss me too much, y'all. So, today is the "How I figured it out" part of my coming out story. It's very anti-climatic, and a little goofy. So, there was this guy who liked me a lot, but I didn't really like him. Tbh, I felt bad cause who would like me? So when he asked me out, I said yes. We were going steady for like a week, and it felt weird. He was so sweet and nice to me, and I felt so guilty dating him and acting like I liked him too. So, at the end of the week, I broke up with him. He immediately went to the counselor's office and practically lived there the rest of the year. I felt so bad. Well, I only bring this up cause while I was dating this guy, I was starting to develop a crush on my VERY straight *sigh* best friend. Ik, ik, classic lesbian move. BUT I was denying any feelings so hard. Like, if they came at me, I was smacking them away. I was about to nuke the feelings. (it doesn't work, btw) It wasn't until the middle of my seventh-grade year that I accepted the fact that I could be possibly even the slightest bit gay. And I was pondering what I would identify as, cause I was tired of hiding in the closet. So I went as bi until my 9th grade year. It's also when I found KT. The first question I ever asked as an unregistered user was if I would still identify as bi (Thank you, Athena, btw) because I needed to feel an emotional connection before I even allowed myself to like someone. So yeah. I identify as demi-bisexual :P

Jealousy? It's stupid, and I've been struggling with it a lot lately. I've concluded that it's dumb. And shouldn't be an emotion. And it's not even like a relationship or anything! I came out to my ex-best friend first. It's actually a little funny. I was at one of my good friend's birthday parties at the corn maze. They just turned 13. I was talking with my exb (that's what I'm calling it now, I don't wanna have to spell it out) and she brought up one of my exes. Ugh, it was a bad time in my life. That guy literally only wanted me to try and make another girl jealous. And I figured that out. So I ended it. Anyway, she brought it up and all of my friends there were like "EWWWW" and stuff. It's whatever. I don't remember how exactly it happened, but my exb said "If I tell you my crush, you tell me yours" and I was like... "Uhm ok" and so she told me her crush, there was some overdramatic gagging on my part, and then she said "Okay, your turn" and I panicked. I froze up and said "Well..." and I said my crush's name before immediately going "I'm bi" I would like to add that MY CRUSH WAS ALSO AT THE BIRTHDAY PARTY AND HAD KEPT HOLDING MY HAND. *ahem* anyway, that was the first person I ever came out to.

Okay, so I have like a billion art projects going on, and I need to figure out which ones should go first. My ADHD brain wants to do all the drawings but never finish them lol. So, which should come first? And after that... and after that...
