I maybe might be a mink therian.... My hypothesis is I used to hiss scratch and hide under the table when I was very very very young like 3-5 I would do this if my doda wanted me to do something I didn't want to do or if I was in trouble.

And minks do hiss, snarl, bark, and a whole bunch of other noises.

What I'm thinking is they suck the wild out of me or something that's why I'm "normal".

I’ve been getting so shifty with my fictionkintypes lately

Here's a life update:

I feel like I am partly a therian, but, I feel like I'm not sometimes. Is there a word for that?

I told my bsf about me being a therian and she accepted me! I'm literally so glad for that if she didn't i'd probably be swimming in guilt for not telling her (-̩-̩-̩-̩-̩___-̩-̩-̩-̩-̩)

So my b-day was a couple days ago

I'm now 13! :p

My bsf(J) is getting me gear on Amazon as a late b-day present >//<

I felt phantom teeth today, which was a surreal experience, to say the least. I felt my tail and ears again, but this time I felt phantom paws too.

So yeah. I felt very shifty 2day too!!

overall I'm really happy 2B back on KT and I'm excited to see my friends again!!

ok so i awakened as a therain a few months ago and i belived i was a serval but over time, im feeling odd like im not sure if i am a therian i have had phantom shifts and i belive im a feline but theres certain thing that i do that dont aline with a serval for example i like swimming not wading in water actual swimming, i also sometimes wonder if somehow im fakeing being a therian and that worries me even more. I sometimes just feel like a big lie like im am making all this up, i also have been doing more reseach about different felines because i know its a feline, i know im not a paleotherian. A serval is the best i have found.

Alterhumanity isn’t spiritual btw!!

Or rather, let me explain it.

Alterhumanity is not exclusively spiritual. Not all alterhumans believe in past lives, or believe that they have a spiritual connection to (insert creature).

And the “you’re born a therian!” Logic, it is genuinely so stupid.

You can involuntarily became a therian from pet regression, trauma, some disorders, (in some cases) otherlinking and more, it’s not just something you have the second you’re born.

And at the same time, you can involuntarily stop being an alterhuman. Identity is fluid, and sometimes it really does just happen. And you can still voluntarily just not identify as an alterhuman at all. It’s really up to you.

And then shifts.

NOT ALL ALTERHUMANS GET SHIFTS!!!

Some alterhumans don’t experience mental, phantom or even memory shifts. I know for a fact that I’ve experienced phantom shifts, but not experiencing them doesn’t make any less valid or real. Everybody’s experience is valid, and (nearly) everyone’s identity is valid!

So for a while now i have had the thought that i am a therian.

the reasons why,

i have had phantom shifts of big ears

i have always felt connected to felines

i have had dreams of me being a feline running around and playing with other felines

i also always tried to be a cat when i was younger i would wear cat ears every single day untill my old school counceler told me to take them off i even tried to turn into cats when i was younger, i have a friend who is a therian and i thought i had a therotype but im still doing research

i also do quads but idk if that is important

sorry about this i just want to know from actual therians if this is all stuff that other therians have expericend also sorry about bad spelling

Basically I was bored and wanted to post something, so I figured I'd look for sourcemates (fictionkins with fictotypes from the same piece of media as you) to talk to.

Anyways onto the main part, hello to anyone who has clicked on this!!! To put it simply, im hoping to find other fictionkins with fictotypes from Poppy Playtime since I dont actually know any sourcemates in real life. (I do have a fictionkin friend IRL, but their fictotype is from Crk) My fictotype is Doey, im okay with doubles but when a double is mean and says they're the only one it makes me feel upset. I have like 1 kinmem ??? but I have assumptions that are essentially headcanons until confirmed but they make sense to me based off dream shifts. Some people find canonmates (people who are from the same canon as you) (Spiritual fictionkins can have past lives that were canon divergent) as you. I dont think i would know if someone was though, as i said, I have like 1 kinmem and it was a feeling and the context to it. I was doing ELA on my school Chromebook (Independent Study), on a zoom call with a teacher (idk y), then suddenly this monkey comes in & destroys the place, just a regular monkey, then the school begins to burn down, then all of a sudden I hear nuke sirens going off & my heart js DROPS. Then SUDDENLY, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY, but on the radio, people took the nuke siren, added a bunch of rave music to it, & slapped it on the radio (I mean, why wouldn't you? You're about to die!-) & the dream ended as soon as I went on my Xbox to warn my friends lols.

I’m a recently awakened therian (Northwestern wolf, Norwegian forest cat, and Great Horned Owl, though the latter is less relevant to my question). I’m not out to my parents, but I know they aren’t supportive of the community, so I’m only able to “practice” in my shoebox of a bedroom, except not really. I’m on the second floor and heavy footed, a deadly combination because one misstep and the entire house rattles. No, there’s nowhere for me to go outside, either- I live in a very urban environment and when I tell you my bedroom is the only place I can practice, I mean that. Combine that with the fact that I completely suck, and yeah. It’s rough. I know the mechanics of every gait + jumps, but I don’t have the space to apply anything but walk. I can (very poorly) trot ten feet across my room if I pad the floor with blankets, but even that makes me completely out of breath despite me being in pretty good shape. But I really love doing it, and it’s the only way I’ve found to express my identity so far (I can’t get gear, and textures and sounds don’t really do it for me). I want to get good at this so, so badly, but my circumstances make it almost impossible. Has anyone experienced something similar, and could you share some tips? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

for me personally, i think that phantom shift (feeling past limbs that are no longer there, such as tails/ears, wings, ect.) at school is the worst, i hate thinking that i have my ears and tail, and then getting disappointed when ive got no tail/ears

So, if you didn't see my previous post, I started questioning whether I'm Therian or Otherkin or Alterhuman. With some more research needed, I have come to a conclusion.

I am Alterhuman.

I don't know officially yet or even what I am considered as (that's where the research comes in), but I, for now, fall under that umbrella.

If you could help me identify myself, please help. I need people who are experienced within the community to give tips and help me figure out if I really am or not.

I JUST DISCOVERED IMA COYOTE Therian! that’s 4 THERIOTYPES! AMAZING!

JUST NOW WHEN I CONFIRMED MY THERIOTYEPS a while later I IMAGINED… okay here’s what I wrote

For some reason just now I was feeling mad because I imagined an animal in my territory and I was a coyote and I was barking and snarling at it and I actually felt mad in my human mind. The setting it was in a…. A place with rocks underneath my paws and some small trees with not many leaves and it was high up and there was a forest below where I and the other animal (maybe another coyote i forgot) was (this imagery was in third person)

Then I kinda chose and didn’t choose to imagine myself as a coyote

I imagined myself as a coyote in first person and saw my COYOTE PAWS! I RAN AND DID A JUMP

Ima brown coyote :3

How I made it (HAHA PPL YOU CANT ASK ME HOW I MADE IT NOW AND ANNOY ME)

I used:

- cut up grip socks

- Eva foam

- hot glue gun

- hot glue sticks

- scissors

- pencil

How I made it:

I got my gloves and drew out a paw on the Eva foam. Then I cut the paw beans out and I traced the beans onto the other piece of Eva foam, then cut it again. I used the hot glue to glue on the toe beans onto the desired place. There you go.

Here. Happy now? Don’t annoy me again.
