honestly don’t know if I should become a furry or not

I can’t decide ToT

I keep going between considering being a furry to not wanting to be a furry

I write stories with anthropomorphic animals in them, but usually it’s set after humans went extinct and animals evolved to be as intelligent as we are, or other similar situations. But idk how anthropomorphic they count as, as they always still move on all 4s, speak a non-human language and still look like normal animals. They often do use bags, though.

I am not particularly drawn to cartoon animals that look super human, I generally like ones that look more like the actual animal more.

Keeping all of this in mind, idk if this means I should be a furry or not.

Maybe I already am and am just denying it…

I have 6 birds and a dog

i used to have more birds but we had to rehome them

Their names are Daisy, Felix, Sky, Merlin, Indie and Pickle

we used to think Daisy was a boy and we called her Kevin but now she's the mother to a total of 1 bird

Sky and Merlin are Budgies but the rest of our birds are cockatiels

I think indie has some type of albinism but she's not fully white

she's more light creamy and yellow but she has red eyes

My dog is called Maggie and she's very cute

might be the best shower thought of the century

I’m probably gonna just try to catch dragonflies but I hate killing things like that for no good reason

Therian gear i made last night!

Hii! I followed a tutorial for this, and it didn't really work so I looked at a different tutorial and then I sorta combined the tutorials and did some stuff that I just came up with and I made a yarn tail!!

For the yarn I honestly just found an old pom pom making kit and i went from there, sorry idk what kind of yarn it is

it probably took me about 4 hours without including breaks. I started it at about 3 pm and finished it around 10. but I had to eat dinner and then I watched a movie with my dad and then I played with my dogs for a little bit so yea.

Anyways I'll stop yapping and show you guys, it's a fox tail! :D

ugh it's sideways, anyway thats it clipped onto my shorts (they look so freaking short in that picture i promise they arent T-T)

and this is it on my nightstand

if you guys have yarn and you want me to upload something to teach you how to do this I definitely can!

1: therians actually think they're animals. NO WE DONT!! there IS a mental illness called zoanthropy but it doesnt really have anything to do with therianthropy

2: eW dO yOu eAT -insert animal food here- NOPE. JUST SOLVING THIS NOW: we do not eat kibble, worms, cat food, vomit, whatever you put here.

3: tHeriaNs and fUrRys are tHe sAmE tHinG - no and if you say this you will likely annoy furries/therians. Furries dress up as humanoid animals for fun and therians have the soul of an animal. While there is some overlap (there are therian furries) they are NOT the same thing.

4: All therians wear gear and do quads. nope. u can be a therian without ever doing quads/gearing!

5. "being a therian sounds fun!!". - no, it is NOT. while yes there are some fun aspects like having a large community to connect to, there is ALSO a large community of haters. Also: SPECIES DYSPHORIA. (where you feel uncomfortable/wrong in your human body). Its literally one of the most depressing things ive been through (tho luckily mine is only bad sometimes) And we also CONSTANTLY get called furries (ik i already mentioned this) (i fully support furries im just NOT ONE and its annoying to be called something im not)

6: "therians are so lucky, they get to have so many friends like them"... i actually have heard this before. Uh. NO. Yes, we do have a large community that we can connect to but a lot of therians (specifically younger ones) have no access to the communities/ cant go on because their parents check their history (mine do too but i found a workaround i create a new google account without signing in to go on KT then delete it later)

obvi there are a lot more but i dont have time (or space) to list all of them.

now something funny- my parents genuinely don't care anymore how I don't sleep much at night :D for example, I went into my parents room around like 12:30 in the morning and they were still up fixing laundry since our washer broke- and they were just like "what's up" ................ I also stayed up until like 3 lol... I have trouble sleeping sometimes so there's that
