So, I was dating this guy (lets just call him n) and I liked him a lot. But I would never do anything with him like hold his hand, sit with him, hug him, kiss him, etc. So one day after school, I was walking to the band room to grab my instrument so I could bring it home to practice. And one of my friends (lets just call her e) was asking me when I was going to break up with him (she wanted me to break up him because she thought that he was chopped). So, I made a joke saying that I was going to break up him right now. So she started talking Abt when I should do it and how I should do it ( she didn't get the fact that I was joking) when my choir teacher asks to talk to me. He started talking to me abt musicals and etc. So while I'm in the choir room, N walked into the band room were E was. So E, (not knowing I was joking) asks a random girl (lets just call her A) to tell N that I was breaking up with him. So she did and I found out what they did and I acted cool (u know not trying to rage fight them) and he didn't seem to have any reaction. So then he got with a new girl (re-bound) even though I still liked him and he wouldn't talk to me or let me explain to him what happened and to this day he still doesn't know why I wouldn't do anything with him (I didn't do anything with him because everyone told me all this stuff abt him and that if u did a certain thing he would break up with you. It wasn't true and I found out when he dated re-bound) He's always been starring at me and know he has started to talk to me more. He left re-bound and were on talking terms (in groups) Also his friend (lets just call him p) thought that I liked him (he was wrong) so I told him that I didnt like him I liked his best friend. He asked if it was N and I said yes so N may or may not know that I like him. So what move should I do because I like him a lot. Pls help meeeeeeeeee

I rly like to write and do reporting, so I was wanting to know if I could either have like a Journalism Club or maybe a blog Called The Journalism Group....

If not that's okay, but I would really appreciate it. If you guys could make it a club, then people could join and the club will be about the basics of writing, types of writing, and maybe group projects about recent world events or events on KT.

The Rise of Censorship on KT: Credits to LB and Corvette

As you can see from the title, this post is about censorship. KT has always been a place where users from all kinds of backgrounds, cultures, and personalities come together to ask and answer questions, earn points, compete in challenges, and just have fun. But with that comes the risk of people who might try to be inappropriate, rude, or disrespectful—especially since the site is mainly for kids and teens. That’s why KT has moderators. Their job is literally in the name: to moderate.

Now, I completely understand the purpose of moderation. It’s meant to keep the platform safe and make sure kids don’t see or read things that aren’t appropriate. But there’s a difference between moderation and censorship. When moderation starts being influenced by personal opinions or bias, that’s not protecting the community anymore—that’s silencing it.

KT is supposed to be a space where kids and teens can share their thoughts, express opinions, and learn from each other. But I’ve noticed that sometimes posts get “unapproved” for reasons that don’t really make sense. Sure, if a post breaks the rules or includes something inappropriate, that’s fair. But when a post about politics or a controversial topic gets removed, and then later approved after messaging KS or another mod, it raises questions. Why was it unapproved in the first place if it didn’t actually break any rules?

That’s why I think KT should create a Moderator Criteria—a clear set of guidelines that all moderators have to follow when reviewing posts. Instead of relying on personal judgment or opinions, they’d have a consistent standard made by KT itself. This would make moderation fairer, more transparent, and less biased.

By having a set criteria, moderation would be based on the rules of the platform, not on what an individual moderator personally agrees or disagrees with. It would help keep KT safe and open for real discussion—without crossing into censorship.
