This is the 2026 Kidztalk Creation of Critics contest!

people will be ranked by points out of 1000 and whoever gets the most points wins!

SUBMISSION PLACES AND OTHER THINGS WILL BE IN THE CREATION OF CRITICS RESULTS POST USING THE TAG #COC-RESULTS

HOW TO JOIN:

Create a post and at the end of the name put "- COC SUBMISSION"
The writing has to be minimum 2 paragraphs. (Paragraphs are not 5 sentences btw, whoever told you that is lying.)

USE THE TAGS #CREATION-OF-CRITICS AND #COC, I WILL SEARCH THROUGH ALL POSTS WITH THOSE TAGS, AND DESCRIPTIONS.

SO TO MAKE SURE YOUR POST IS ABSOLUTELY FOUND, PLEASE USE THAT TITLE ENDING AND TAGS.

ANY PIECE OF MEDIA THAT IS IN WORDS, THAT CAN COMMUNICATE TO THE READER CLEARLY IS WRITING.

This contest uses points, you will get 1 - 1000 points

If you dont follow rule one you will get 200 points off.

Anything about NATIONAL CHEESE DAY will be instantly given a 0.

The Connecticut colony is an English colony in New England which became the state of Connecticut. It was organized by the Massachusetts Bay Company. The Colony was founded because of different beliefs, led by a group of Puritan dissenters. Puritans are an English religious reform movement that sought to purify the Church of England of it's roman catholic Practices And Ceremonies.Because Puritans established the colony, everyone was expected to attend church. The Connecticut colony is mostly governed by a governor and town representatives, Particularly during the 17th and 18th centuries. The Connecticut colony is a northern colony, because it is a new England colony. The geographical features dictated the colony by shaping the soil into more fertile and just plain better soil. Next,it also helped their pest control. The pests were spreading a little disease that was not good for the colony at all. It also shaped economy, settlements, and survival strategies. Next, i’ll be talking to you about the population on the Connecticut colony.

In the Connecticut Colony, some major cities were Hartford, Windsor, and Wethersfield. Those are rivertowns. Other cities are New London, Saybrook, Fairfield, and Norwich. Saybrook was founded in 1635, as a military fort . Norwich was founded in 1659, and Fairfield was founded in 1639. Saybrook was known for having strategies for the military, and a center for coastal trade. Norwich was known for its bustling trade and Seaport. Fairfield was known for its role during the American Revolution.Not all are still major cities, only Fairfield. Saybrook and Norwich have gotten smaller throughout the years. The colonists of the Connecticut Colony usually employed a diverse range of economic activities. The most primary economic activity were a livestock, subsistence farming and Surplus for sale. Some of the major exports of the time were livestock and animal products, fish, tobacco, and so much more! The Connecticut Colony exported fish because of the big fishing industry in the New England colonies. They also exported tobacco because of high demand, which when they exported it, they got some money from the exportation.
