For those who don't know, I think she was at Coachella and was about to start a song but then this lady in the crowd did something called a zagroutha, which is basically A long, high pitched trill to show happiness or something.

Long story short, Sabrina stopped her performance and was like "what was that?" And the lady explained it to her and Sabrina said she didn't like it and called it yodelling. That's just the scoop social media gave me, idk.

My personal opinion (yes, this was my excuse to yap about it) it shouldn't have really been a big deal. Like Sabrina could have just ignored it or stopped after the lady said "it's my culture." Like you're allowed to not like stuff and have your own opinion but you can't say that in front of a bunch people and cameras. In today's society? Bro she should've expected to get cancelled Maybe I'm laying off her a little because a lot of people are saying it's not a big deal but like..

"but she was interrupted!" How do you get interrupted at the concert. You don't stop singing just because ppl are making noise you just keep going bruh. It didn't even affect her performance she could have kept going.

It seems I've had some discourse on my previous post. Some people seem to be claiming that the ocean food web "needs" dolphins, or something like that. This is PROPAGANDA. Allow me to educate:

What do dolphins do?

-Eat fish

-Swim up and down

-Whistle annoyingly

What does EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE OCEAN DO? THE EXACT SAME THINGS. Fish? Swim up and down, eat other fish, whistle annoyingly. Sea urchins? Otters? Squids? The same stuff. We don't need another animal in the ocean that does this.

Not only are dolphins unnecessary, but they are depraved, violent creatures. Dolphins are incredibly prone to vomiting due to the excessive amount of jumping in and out of the water they do. When they do this, the specific chemicals in their stomach acids combines with the saltwater to create a compound almost identical to NUCLEAR WASTE.

Yeah. I know.

They don't have to do this; they could just sit in the ocean like everybody else; but they don't. Because dolphins are smart; they are smart and they find joy in poisoning everything else in the ocean.

We have a responsibility to our oceans, we as humans need to rescue every other living thing in our ecosystem from these despicable animals. Anybody who opposes the SAY NO TO DOLPHINS INITIATIVE has no value for the health and safety of our planet.

Now, I believe that this is a nuanced topic. I don't believe it is always the best choice, especially if it is only because of a woman's irresponsibility, but it is still her choice. Now here are some popular pro-life arguments and my counters :)

1. life begins at conception, so by ending a pregnancy, you end life.

                Yes, but life and personhood (which is what a lot of people are concerned about) are two different things, and when personhood begins is one of the most heated topics in the abortion debate. We end life all the time, fully formed, developed, born life, and it doesn't matter because its not human, but when a zygote that has little brain activity and is not viable (could not survive out of the woman), it is unacceptable to some. (lots of laws uphold this by differentiating between potential life and existing persons). This is why a lot of people compare this specific argument for abortion to religion, as it is important to recognize people have their own beliefs, and we cannot police others based on our own.

(also babies are in a sedated state practically up until they are born and really aren't conscious even when they develop the brain structure necesary to do so)

2. Abortion is unsafe

               Abortion is quite literally 14 times safer than childbirth, on average, by many reputable sources. Futher correlation between lack of abortion access and higher maternal mortality is shown by the statistic that maternal mortality rates are 62% higher in states with abortion restrictions.

3. Abortion is dragging down society's view of human value

           I can hardly argue this, it is a moral claim, and as I said previously, if it is subjective and moral, it should be a choice for the individual. The only thing I will say is the majority of Americans think abortions should be allowed in some or all cases, and there is a pretty popular consensus among ethicsists and philosophers that balancing rights (including bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom) is necesary.

4. Adoption is a great alternative!

             This is an option, but only after you carried the baby to term and gave birth to it, so it really isn't an alternative because the point of abortion is to not have to carry the baby and birth it yourself, in addition to taking care of the baby. Also, adoption is a complicated topic, as there are already millions of kids waiting for a family, but families looking to adopt face long lists, barriers, checks, and costs that make it difficult. Additionally, adopted kids are much more likely to have trauma and a generally worse life than biological kids. Even if it did fully address the argument, it isn't a perfect solution.

5. Just get a C section

           This is the worst one imo. A C section is a birth, so like adoption, you still carry the child to term and birth it. Additionally the surgery is highly invasive, dangerous, much more expensive than an abortion, painful, and often requiring at least 8 weeks of recovery.

I feel like the most underestimated person in my classroom. Like out of 6 teachers only 2 of them knows my name but the other teacher knows everyone else's names. Like I get that it's only the second week of school but everyone in my class has already gotten a chance to shine and I want mine. This has happened before. I pose that Abortion is always morally wrong, for this argument:

Premise 1: Abortion Kills the Fetus.

Premise 2: The Fetus is a human being.

Premise 3: Intentionally and deliberately killing innocent human beings is always morally wrong.

Conclusion: Abortion is Morally Wrong.

If anybody would like to argue that Abortion is morally fine, I ask you to disprove this argument.

You can do it by either explaining why the argument is illogical (i.e. provided the premises are true, they don't logically lead to the given conclusion) or by explaining why the premises are false.

If you cannot answer this argument, or I can refute your counter, I will not believe Abortion is moral. If you can answer this argument, and I cannot refute your counter I will concede that abortion is moral.

Any "arguments" that do not pertain to the status of the Fetus (as human or not human) are secondary issues, and their entire context varies based on whether the Fetus is or isn't human. Essentially, they are not worth discussing until we agree that either this argument is valid, or not.

I agree with Toe's point.

Let's say Elo said something really hateful to Chelsea. She'd get called out by a lot of people, but users would forget about it within like a day or two.

Depending on the severity of the issue, she'd probably have the same rep.

Now, if a lesser known user like Mel said something mean to Nobi, she'd get attacked for days and days and days and would have a terrible reputation afterwards (this is based off of grim vs Ash by the way).

So, why don't we just forget about popularity and treat everyone the same? We should still protect the underdogs and not very popular users. We can still protest for them in drama.

We can make tags like #JusticeForAsh into #JusticeForPizza or something. Also, we need to notice and address when someone goes missing randomly. I know this from experience. When I wasn't popular, I would leave for months and no one would bat an eye. If Carly left for an hour everyone would go insane and think she died.

It would make people feel better if we noticed and said something about it. I know it would warm my heart if I saw it.

Hey guys. This is something I’ve really wanted to post about for a while, but theres been so much drama I didn’t want to spike even more drama.

DISCLAIMER!!

This is not meant for anyone specific and it IS something you can get offended about. This post is meant for a kind debate only and hateful comments or answers are unwanted and unnecessary. This is my personal opinion and experience and you may disagree. I’m also not looking to make enemies. Please do not read if you are very sensitive to judgement, because while I’m not talking about you, I’m talking about Kidztalk as a whole, and you’re a part of this community. However, not EVERYONE does these, just a large majority of us do, so if it sounds like something you do not do, you most likely aren’t contributing to this.

Kidztalk has changed.

Well, no duh, of course it will change. Welcome to the world! And in some ways, it’s for the better, and some ways, for the worst, but that’s how life works, and that’s how every one of us rolls. And besides Kidztalk changing, we have changed. One thing I’d like to address in this post is how we have changed, but I will only be speaking of the negative parts. I’m not talking about website, I’m talking about the community. Us. So sit back, relax, and then tense up at my striking, possibly bold, possibly too audacious opinions that I pray someone will actually listen and agree with.

1. I think a vast majority of us are WAY too sensitive.

Me included. I’m just as guilty of this as many of us are.

As kids, we’re often overdramatic and so of course we act like that. But it can be a little TOO much.

One person will say they believe in God and someone will take that as a personal offense because they don’t believe in God and start a hateful argument that the original person didn’t even intend to happen.

This is WAY different than PMing someone they shouldn’t be gay. No, I mean when it wasn’t intended as an insult or wasn’t straight up offending another party.

I see this all too often usually with LGBTQIA+ users. NOT EVERYTHING IS AN ATTACK. Just because someone doesn’t support LGBTQ doesn’t mean they hate you, it just means they don’t support your sexuality/gender. That doesn’t mean they wouldn’t stick up for you if you were bullied, it just means they have a different view than you do. And that’s okay.

Some people have brutally ATTACKED people to a point where the user tries to distance themselves from the community. Whether or not the person has purposefully offended you, it’s important to treat people with respect and kindness. This goes for BOTH parties.

THE EXCEPTION is when the original party did do something wrong, doesn’t even apologize properly, and just seems completely insincere. Then lose your attempt to be kind. At that point that user does not deserve redemption.

We shouldn’t be freaking out and blowing up on people because they said something that contrasts with your views.

2. We need to set aside differences.

I can GUARANTEE you everyone on here would be VERY good friends with another person on here that they normally wouldn’t converse with IF they set aside differences. But I swear, barely anyone does.

For whatever reason we all like to be very divided and create little communities almost always with people like us. YES, YOU CAN. Just because you have different beliefs or opinions shouldn’t separate you from someone passionate about something you’re passionate about or someone with a similar personality.

Plus, we can all be one big community, but it’s like people will only answer or comment on posts they actually can connect with. Why can’t some of you answer a post with an inspiring bible verse if it’s not even about the religion? Why can’t some of you answer a post that just barely mentions Biden? Like it really is not that deep. Now obviously if the entire posts is something you can’t connect with thats different but some of you won’t even answer certain users posts whether you connect with the post or not just because of the user. Which brings this right back around to SET ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES, DANG IT.

3. Popularity.

Recently what’s been driving me nuts is that popular people get to get things off their back quickly but unpopular people get drilled into the ground for one thing.

FOR EXAMPLE- a popular user could sincerely apologize for saying something hateful to another user and everyone could smile, pat them on the head, congratulate them for being such a kind amazing person, and then ask them if everything at home is okay because they acted out. A lesser-known or not as popular user could sincerely apologize for saying something hateful and they’d STILL receive backlash for it days later.

It’s not the USERS fault, it’s OUR fault. People should be equally held for their actions.

Another thing is popular users get cared and comforted faster and more often.

For instance, a popular user could vent that their mom was getting surgery today and they’d have 16 answers and 200 views. The other user could vent about their mom DYING the day before and they’d have 6 answers and a little over 100 views.

I would be shocked if you could convince me this made sense

Again, it is NOT the popular or unpopular users fault. It is OUR fault.

Now, is this ever going to change? Probably not. But can we at LEAST have a LITTLE bit more justice? Absolutely.

4. Puberty.

Tell me why the girls only post rarely get commented on by guys but the guys-only post have almost ALL girls there.

If YOU are going to demand privacy THEY get to demand privacy.

This is straight-up OBNOXIOUS. I also see a LOT of girls when we see a “boys-only” post talk about how you can’t stop them from clicking the post. But when a BOY says that you’ll have 17 girls ATTACKING him for even TRYING to view the post.

I’d also like to suggest we should let everyone view any puberty post, whether about female or male puberty. But if we aren’t going to do that AT LEAST do what everyone wants.

This is really unfair and needs to change. Either let everyone answer it or do not answer the post if you aren’t that gender. If they don’t specify ___ only then go ahead, but if they specify please do whats asked.

5. Unnecessary hate.

Okay but why do I see some people just talking about other users rudely and openly and/or not point out the user but still talk about them anyway? Do you guys realize how rude this is? And besides talking about 1 user, I also see people being super sarcastic about liking a user or saying have a list of people they hate. Can we not? Half the time nobody even asked anyways. I don’t even need to elaborate, this gets the point across just fine.

I have more but these are the big 5 things and the others aren’t that important. Feel free to debate and share your opinion, as well as add on your own opinions.

We need to change these things! There’s so much drama daily and it usually comes from these 5 problems!

I’m not happy right now (I’m angry at some people), so to prevent myself from creating an explosive accusatory post (well I might still do that) I’m gonna share my view on Nalish.

Should you ask for Nidal’s number or Salish’s number? No, you shouldn’t. I mean, you technically can, but it’s a really bad idea. They’re just normal people who are well-known, doesn’t mean you’re free to get their number (unless they’ve publicly posted it online).

As for shipping Nidal or Salish together or having a crush on one of them, I don’t see why everyone is extremely against that. They’re both kids, you can ship them. I bet people ship other people at your school.

And also, you can crush on them. It’s just like any other celebrity crush.

I’m nonbinary and Omni so I 100% support LGBTQ+ I think that you should be able to decide what part of LGBTQ you’re in at 10+ or 9 and a half. I do however think you should wait in till your older than 13 to date.

Trans people

I support you guys all the way I think it’s amazing that you guys stand up and be your self!

I think that it’s fine for a Trans girl to go into the women’s bathroom and vice versa. But please please if someone gets your pronouns wrong then just politely correct them you don’t have to yell at them (not saying all trans people do this)

Therians and furrys

Okay, so I mean this is a tough one to answer. Yes, I am a part of LGBTQ, yes I wholeheartedly support it.

I absolutely hate it when people use “Gay” as an insult and make gay jokes, and I hate homophobia.

I hate the LGBTQ people who like make anyone who isn’t running around waving a flag like their people who deserve to be in prison and get the death penalty and shunned from society. Like no, respect everyone even if their believes are different from yours, please.

Another thing, I hope that LGBTQ will be normalized to the point of it not needing a name, just being the same like straight relationships, like if feel like by giving it a special name and special community, it’s kinda like your syaing it’s not equal to straight people.

I don’t think trans men should compete in men’s sports, and vice versa for trans women in woman’s sports

Unless you have gotten like bottom and/or top surgery, which gives you the closet thing you can get to changing your sex fully. If you don’t have these things, Then you have a unfair advantage or disadvantage

So, uhm about Trans people in bathrooms, I mean not in locker rooms if you still have the opposite genders parts, but bathrooms are fine because theirs stalls and stuff. But their should be more all gender bathrooms

however, I support trans people fully. I like trans people, and I think they’re awesomesuace!
