https://www.kidzsearch.com/questions/tag/%23fallout Powered by Question2Answer https://www.kidzsearch.com/questions/874796/so-ive-been-watching-fallout-recently-and-im-beginning-to-make-some-very-bad-connections-to-irl <p>For those who don't know, FallOut is a game series (and T.V show, which is amazing btw) about a 216-year post apoplectic world where you try to survive after leaving your vault (vaults are small civilizations built underground from before the nukes made by a company called VaultTech).</p> <p>First and foremost: VaultTech has striking similarities to Amazon, owning "half of everything", large powerful company, who's only focused on ways to make money. They also claim they're here to help humanity, though they do more harm than good if you look closely. VaultTech's goal is to out last everyone else on the surface so that there is no conflict when they take control and monopolies everything. They have the resources to fix the world but won't until it benefits them.</p> <p>The BrotherHood of steel: <strong>old&nbsp;</strong>Christianity. Though not really seen in the show, the Brotherhood is a large, nation wide cult who believes that the world is ment for them and that they have the right to all tech "from the old world" (from before the bombs dropped) searching for these "rights" of theirs using any means necessary to get them. They belive that if they collect all the tech from the old world, they can rebuild civilization. This is close to the old Christian way of doing things, manifesting destiny.&nbsp;</p> <p>New California Republic is legit just regular people who realize that VaultTech is actually an enemy. They realize VaultTech has the supplies to fix the rest of the world, but are too money driven&nbsp;to do it. They take matters into their own hands, creating a mainly being a peaceful civilization until provoked. They truely want to help humanity.</p> <p>Not going to lie, the connections kind of scare me. Amazon 100% has the funding and power to do what VaultTech is doing and in response to that, a religious group will pop up and try to restore humanity and of course there will be people who realize that Amazon will be the ones who drops the bombs. (Of course, this will only happen once Amazon realizes the money they could make and find a way to make chriochambers)</p> <p>So far this is what I got. I'm starting New Vagas (the show) tonight and probably will be finding more similarities between the show and real life. FYI, I haven't started the games yet.
