So for my whole life I have been scared of one thing more than anything else in the world. The ocean. I hate going to the beach and really any body of water in general but mainly the beach, I feel like it’s gotten worse too.

I hate dolphins, whales, fish and especially sharks. I would say the whole afraid of the ocean thing really just revolves around the fact that I am absolutely petrified of sharks. A picture of one of them is enough to make my heart sink.

Anyways my mom gets really annoyed with me on vacation cause I never wanna go in the water and I never wanna have fun or anything at the beach, I just sit there on high alert ready to book it at any given time. My mom is the opposite tho, she loves the beach and when we go she makes sure to take her sweet o’l time there and I swear sometimes I get so scared and I feel like I’m gonna faint.

For those of you wondering, yes, my mom KNOWS I’m scared of the ocean but she just doesn’t seem to care! It’s really really annoying tho because my mom is scared of clowns right? And the movie IT just so happens to be one of my favorites, I don’t talk about it with her tho, I don’t wanna scare her! But she’s fine with scaring me!? I just don’t get it, this isn’t like a generic fear I have either, it is one of the only things that actually scares me and I need her to respect how much it scares me. I genuinely think that I have it to the degree that it classifies as a mental disorder, I shake and sweat just thinking about the beach! Why can’t she just understand that!? whenever I remind her, she blames it on me overreacting and blames it all on the movie Jaws, which yes, played a big part in why I’m so scared! How to I tell her that I really really am scared of this?

1. Trialyadaphobia (I think that's it) fear of the number 13

I don't understand it except for slightly the fact that 13 is a "unlucky" number.

2.Rhialycerinaglycaricanidaphobia (ok I made up the word but the phobias real word is too complicated to write and I forgot it. But here's the length of it XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX it's fear of long words. Yes. You heard me right. The fear of long words has one of the longest words bruh. Scientists. What kind of joke is this.

I recently relized I had some other fears. So these are most of my fears.

-Atychiphobia, Fear of failure

-Coulrophobia, Fear of clowns

-Thanatophobia, Fear of death or the process of dying

-Claustrophobia, Fear of confined (small or tight) spaces

-Belonephobia, Fear of needles

-Emetophobia, Fear of vomiting

-Social Phobia, Fear caused by social situations

-Glossophobia, Fear of public speaking

-Philophobia- Fear of falling in love. (I believe it was caused by past relationships)

-Athazagoraphobia- Fear of forgetting something or being forgotten.

-Scopophobia- Fear of being watched. When in social situations, fear of being judged by others.
