a little update for you all

so besides the weekend, it's my first day of winter break

bro lwk yesterday my friend started crashing out cuz my wifi wouldnt work so my fortnite just wouldnt load for like 20 minutes straight so i couldn't even join a server and he just left

the wifi here sucks fr

anyways

my cousin's staying with me for the next two weeks, this week we're just chilling and doing all this Christmas stuff and whatever, and then next week we will go to Florida and go on a cruise

it's Evan's birthday today and I tried calling him but honestly I'm not going to bother with trying to keep in contact with that boy :/

honestly we just played video games all day today, and I took my little cousin to this forest place and it was like really pretty (ill do a photo haul !!)

now I'm just reading and she's doing one of those Roblox easy obbys

anyways for the moment you guys have all been waiting for, PHOTO HAUL !!

anyways the cold air had a massive allergic reaction and it was a long walk because my mom wouldn't let us use the bikes because it was icy on the roads

but that's okay it was worth it because like I said it's super pretty

then we came home and I did her nails

anyways so thanks for reading lol

so me and my friend went back in the forest and we made a den and we got rlly far in making the den! BUT THEN WE TRIED GOING IN THE CREEK AND I ALMOST FELL AND DIED (we decided to not go in the creek after that)

next time we're back there i'll take a pic of the area! we also didn't find any bones yet :c

NOW FOR THE WEATER: Mom said the level went from 4 down to 3, and we still have a very high chance of tornadoes. The bad stuff should hit when I'm at home luckily, but I'm still really really anxious and I'm driving myself crazy <3

buttercup (ESSA) will come with me TMR so hopefully I'll be a bit better. Essa stands for emotional support stuffed animal! Are there other ESSA people out here!

What is YOUR definition of a forest?

My homework asked me this question, and I want to know what yalls answer to this is,

Mine is this:

Has trees.
Lots of biodiversity.
Some new trees.
Several old growth trees.
Snags are present.
The soundscape has remained unchanged for ten years.

I'm talking about a forest, a massive area covered in trees, not a small grove near your school.

To those who don't know what a soundscape is:

A soundscape is a way to determine how much outside influence has changed an ecosystem. Say the birds in a forest sing. They sing basically the same thing, every morning, every day. If a few trees get chopped down, a group of scientists can look around, and say, nothing has changed. If someone used a soundscape instead, they would hear the difference from the old forests noise to the new ones. The forest has changed.

If you were in a forest in the middle of no where, what would you grab with you to start off with, by the way, nothing extreme like a ray gun, something like a hatchet or fishing rod, or a compass, or matches, food supplies, or hunting knife, what would you do and what would you bring, can there be long answers? I want some detail and subtle answers
