Today was the last day of mini med! I'm gonna miss my frnds but anyway...

*WARNING- If you have Trypanophobia (Fear of medical procedures, hospitals/doctors, needles, blood, etc.) , DO NOT READ*

Today was probably the BEST day of the whole week, and here's why

So first we learned about the heart, got a plastic replica of one, then we practiced IVs and BLOOD TESTS!!!!!!!! We used a dummy arm that had veins, and red liquid in the veins. I used a butterfly needle (and a syringe once) to take the blood, and I got it FIRST TRY! It was super fun bc you could feel the tension release when you hit the vein. It was super fun, and I was litterally addicted! Usually I hate getting my blood drawn, but after today, now that I've done it before, I don't feel scared at all!

Also today we practiced sutures on fake skin. We used the thread that surgeons use, and the skin they practice on. It was fun, but lowkey hard bc not even the teacher knew how to do it! We had to use YT shorts to try and figure it out.

After that, they brought in Ida. She's an almost EXACT replica of a real human body. They have to store her in some fluid, so when they took her out it was wet. The skin felt really real, and we could flap her open to see her organs!! Okay, this will sound even MORE weird, but the inside of her nose was like wet lol and her tongue felt a bit SPECIALLLLLLLLLLLLLL so did the roof of her mouth OH also her teeth felt litterally real like i was shocked.

Then, we got to see a real human brain! I've seen it before at a previous camp, but it was still SUPER COOL.

Look, I'm so sorry if I made you queasy in any way...

This was my third camp at the health museum :)

Next week I'm doing a DANCE camp that is 3 hrs of literally non stop dance but it is only 4 days of the week, not 5. The camp is called intense summer training dance, so idk I'll abbreviate it to ISTD, which is lowkey cringe or just DANCE idkkk

It was rlly fun too, we disected a sheep's brain although ive already done a sheeps brain before. The five yr old (check DAY 2) was in my friends lap, and he said, "Woopsie, I took a poopsie!" And it smelt so bad! It was in the theatre lol and omg i felt so bad

Today was the first day of my Mini Medical School camp!

This is rlly random and ik u prob dont care lol sorry for wasting your time but today we learned about the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM and the Chicago Tylenol poisoning case (the whole entire reason medicene thingys have a plastic protection)

It was fun, I met someone who lives in COLUMBIA but she surprisingly could speak english very well.

I’ve had her for around 7 years now since I got her as a prize from Girl Scouts

And she has a harness

It’s just a normal cat harness that I already had plus a carrying clip and a Kandi necklace that my other Essa Roxis normally wears

You should try it! It worked for me. A tip for curly hair in the humidity of this summer is use gel at the end. This is the rountine:

Step-by-Step Routine<!

1. Prep and Detangle<!

Start with soaking wet hair in the shower or thoroughly spray it with water.<!
Gently detangle with a wet brush or wide-tooth comb.<!

2. Sectioning<!

Divide your hair into two main sections: top and bottom (or crown). Clip the top section out of the way to focus on the bottom first.<!

3. Apply Leave-In and Cream<!

Work a lightweight leave-in conditioner (like PATTERN Leave-In Conditioner) through the wet strands to lock in hydration.<!
Rake a curl cream through the sections using your fingers. Tip: If you have fine hair, use lighter styling products to avoid weighing curls down.
4. Brush Styling<!
- Use a curl-defining brush (such as the Bounce Curl Define Brush<!) to style individual sections. Create tension as you brush outward, then gently shake or scrunch the section to encourage coil formation.

Avianscales- Avianscales are a very smart species and study the biogeography and biology of other species.

Avianscales are also known as the only feathered dragon species.

Avianscales come in any color making them more unique.

Avianscales have 3 abilities 1 would be that they are the fastest flyers to exist able to go up to 200 mph at full speed ability 2 would be the ability to shoot lightning if they can warm themselves up enough ability 3 about 5 known avians can make their feathers out of 4 different materials at will consisting of metal, obsidian, glass, or just harden the feathers.

Avians a close relatives to nightwings being all mysterious.

Plasmawings-Plasmawings are a dark purple, light blue, white, and black.

Plasmawings are partially immune to fire but can be burned still.

Plasmawings have the ability to shoot plasma from their talons but it's easy to dodge.

Some plasmawings or a rare amount can actually manipulate plasma into shields and swords some can even go invisible just cant use plasma when invisible.

Plasmawings are a close relative to Nightwings, Rainwings, and seawings.

Fogwings- Live in deep caverns and blend in with the forests at night.

Fogwings have bioluminescent scales that will glow in the dark if they have enough sun power stored.

Fogwings can exhale a toxic gas that often looks like fog which is how they got their name.

Fogwings can come in colors of greyish browns, grey, and greyish greens sometimes bronze.

Fogwings have poor eyesight and are usually half blind.

Close relatives to rainwings.

Goldwings- Goldwings have metallic like scales that lose the metallic look at night.

Goldwings can spit out a small portion that seems to be lava.

Goldwings have the ability to blend in with treasure rooms and are known as good thieves.

Goldwings will mostly do anything for treasure.

Goldwings are also relatives of sandwings and mudwings. and prefer warm climate.
