Hey everyone! I need some real, honest guy and girl opinions on my situation. I’m in 6th grade (going into 7th) and live in Texas. This guy "Billy" and I have known each other since 3rd grade because our moms work at the same place, so we walk together to their building on Fridays.

Lately, there has been a massive rumor at school that he likes me. His friends even cornered us at the park because they literally thought we were secretly dating! I asked him about it directly and he said "no," but his actions are super confusing.

Here is the exact list of hints for BOTH sides. Please look at the evidence and tell me what you think!

Signs he does like me:

The Secret Friday Routine: At the beginning of the year, we went to Sonic once. On the way back, HE suggested making it a permanent routine every single Friday because it was "fun." He kept this a total secret from his friends so they wouldn't tease him.
The PE Hallway Confession: My best friend asked his friend Aiden if Billy liked me, and Aiden said yes. Later, I asked Aiden directly in the hallway. Aiden turned red, took a huge drink of water, grinned, blurted out "yeah he texted me," and ran away so he wouldn't get busted by Billy.
The 5-Minute Bike Shows: For two weeks, he rode a bike in circles on the sidewalk for at least 5 minutes. He told me he was going to try a trick to show me, and then almost crashed into me, and panicked yelling "oh shoot!" His friends didn't know about this either.
The Scooter Fabrication: I told him I wanted an E-scooter next year. Weeks later, he claimed he actually had one, but his mom later revealed to my mom that he isn't even getting one. He totally made it up.
Breaking the Silence: When he wants to talk, he will repeatedly call my name until I answer, and then explain random things he knows how to do just to have a conversation.
The Texas Rain Walk: On the last day of school, he legitimately lost his umbrella in a massive Texas downpour. Instead of running to the cars, he chose to get soaked just to walk slowly with me, start a conversation, and laugh at all my jokes.
His Calm Attitude with Me: When everyone else pestered him about the rumor, he got super annoyed. But when I asked him directly, he wasn't annoyed at all. He was very gentle and calm, even though he said no.

Signs he does NOT like me

His Confident "No": When I asked him about the rumor, he looked away/down, shook his head, and confidently said "no."
The Loud Public Denial: The day after his friends cornered us, he walked up to his guy group and was like, "Guys, I don't like her," (this might’ve been done to like throw me off, but Idk)
The Phone Shield & Short Answers: A while before the park drama, he started getting really quiet at Sonic. Now, he often gives short answers and just stares at his phone while walking behind me or at the same pace.
He (Probably) Doesn't Think This Deep: Things like calling my name to explain a topic or riding a bike on the sidewalk might just be random, normal 6th-grade behavior, not a deep strategy to impress me.
Just Being Polite: Our moms work together, so he might just be trying to be nice and polite to keep the peace, since he has known me since 3rd grade anyway.

Anyway sry for the long post, but please vote or comment below! Based on this list, does he actually have a crush on me, or is he just a regular childhood friend?

So I have this friend, let’s call her Mindy for now, and I think I like her

So I’ve been thinking about this for a while because my feelings are very confusing

But yesterday the whole friend group was play truth or dare

Everyone in the friend group is dating someone except me and Mindy

Aqua and her girlfriend

Tracy and her boyfriend

Skylar and her boyfriend

Amara and her boyfriend

So Skylar asks Mindy “truth or dare” and Mindy picks truth

So Skylar then asks “do you have a crush on anyone?”

I’m thinking “okay, typical” while Mindy is thinking so I tell her “Just say Bang Chan” (her Stray Kids bias) so she says Bang Chan

Skylar is like “no like someone at the school like is he in our grade”

And I say “what? (Mindy) doesn’t even LIKE guys”

And Mindy says “yeah I’m traumatized by them”

So Skylar says “okay is SHE at the school”

But then we all had to go inside so Mindy never got to respond

But Mindy looks at me and says “I actually haven’t thought about dating anybody”

But I can’t stop thinking about her and it’s driving me crazy

Me and her play Roblox together a lot

We also video call a lot

We keep trying to pull all-nighters together but she always falls asleep around 11pm (I know because we video call while pulling an all nighter)

We have the same exact music taste

We have both shared our insecurities and stuff with each other

Like it’s at the point where I don’t wanna ruin the friendship because she knows way too much about me for me to ruin the friendship by confessing

Should I tell her or no?
