What is it that makes Billie Eilish considered cooler than the other "main pop girls?"

what is it about her? is it her attractiveness? is it her music? is it the way she dresses? is it her "I don't care what you think of me" attitude?

there is just something about her (as a teenage girl, her target audience) that makes her "cooler" than, for example, Taylor Swift or Sabrina Carpenter. there's just a pull to her that most people my age seem to agree that there's something about her that draws people to her. i'm curious to know what you think it is.

I know this is dumb but i find it interesting.

Billie's first song, Ocean Eyes, was put out in 2015, but the EP it was on (don't smile at me) was released in 2017, so this part will be focused on 2015 to 2018. Most of the music in this era was positive, happy, and not as "dark" as Ocean Eyes. I'm assuming that if you are reading this, you have listened to Ocean Eyes, so I won't describe it. But the biggest songs of this era include Taylor Swift's Shake It Off, and Ed Sheeran's Shape of You. These are very positive, happy songs, with a sunny sort of vibe. But we have a girl from Los Angeles, still making a love song, but it is dark and uses dark themes such as "burning cities" and talking about flares. Billie also talks about falling from high places, another somewhat violent, dark lyric, quite different from pop at the time. In the buildup to her debut album "WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" Billie put out 2 singles in 2018, the first being "you should see me in a crown," an industrial and electropop track that sounds very dark. The 2nd single, put out on October 17th of 2018, "when the party's over" is a simple song about an end to a relationship. That closed out 2018 for Eilish.
