Caleb Williams made the best pass of his life right before the end of regulation. He then threw a pick in OT and let Stafford come back.

I absolutely believe that the Rams have gotten astronomical luck to get to this point.

They were lucky that the Panthers made a stupid decision by not bleeding the clock out before that TD.

They were lucky that one of the best passers under pressure (Caleb Williams) threw a pick when they had the game on lock.

And who knows? Stat-padding Stafford (I like him, don't get me wrong, but he lowkey does stat pad) will probably get lucky against the Seahawks defense. They'll probably drop two or three easy picks.

Now lets look at the AFC Championship.

MUCH more exciting in my opinion.

Drake "Drake Maye" Maye's Patriots vs the revitalized Broncos in a rematch of the last Brady vs Manning game in 2016.

I don't think this will be anywhere near as exciting as that game, but it will still be a fun watch. The Broncos are missing Bo Nix, which will really hurt their chances of going to the Super Bowl after a 10-year drought. The Patriots have the possible MVP in Drake Maye along with a strong receiving corps and a good defense.

Speaking of defenses, Denver has a great defense. They are ranked third in the league. But...

The Pats have the #2 offense in the league and also beat the #2 ranked defense in the Texans- 28-16. The Broncos offense is average; they are about middle of the pack at #14 and they might struggle against the Patriots defense.

Any thoughts? LB? Kedi Kitty? Luna Lunar Landing? Nobi? ANYONE ELSE?

Tater Tot’s sick…

Hi. Tater Tot, or Tater for short, is a little better. Yesterday, he stayed in my mom’s closet and under my bed. Then I took him to the litter box, which was clean, and put him in there. He just laid there. I am just so worried. Anyway, he was laying on my bed early this morning with me, unless that was a dream… Idk. When I got up, he wasn’t there. He’s going to the vet today, so hopefully they can find what’s bothering him. Continue to pray, and thank you guys for your support. Bye.

summary: Wednesday is a pet regressor, more specifically a kitten regressor, but everyone thinks that she is always dark and gloomy so she doesn't tell anyone about this side of her for fear that they might hate her for it and she has also been pushing her regression back. But school and trying to solve the mystery of the Hide has been really stressing her out and causing her anxiety and she can't hold back her regression any longer and slips in front of Enid. But Enid doesn't hate her for it and instead takes care of her, playtime and cuddles ensue.

The mystery of the Hyde has really been stressing Wednesday out. She needed to regress but she keeps it back fearing what everyone might think of her. She's been avoiding well until one day she involuntarily regresses in Infront of Enid

She was frozen with fear. Her tan skin looked like a pale white, her long brown hair was frizzy, and her eyes wide. He came towards her, his hands open wide. "Leave Catalina. Stay somewhere else," He hissed. His face wrinkled angrily, and his eyes filled with malice. His breath smelled of tobacco and alcohol. She picked up her backpack next to her and scurried away, but she winced with pain. He had grabbed her hair. "Well, not so fast Mija. There's a punishment for even being here." he slapped her face, his grubby hand red from the force. "Adios Mija, don't come back." He let go of her hair and left the kitchen, stepping on shattered plates from his tantrum minutes ago. Her hand immediately reached her face. It felt hot as if knifes had sliced it. She opened the back door and mumbled under her breath, "My pleasure, papa."

It's not easy to run in unbearable heat, let alone run in chanclas, but she ran her backpack bouncing with every step. As if her life depended on it. She ran, her eyes watering. Tripping over rocks and crossing streets, which were crammed with tiny houses. Catalina passed her school, friends' houses, and church but kept running. The road thinned to a little path and then Catalina slowed. She walked towards a lonely brick, standing tall. She stepped over it and kept on walking. The sound of rushing water came faintly. As she walked deeper into the jungle, it intensified. She kept walking and finally reached it. The river.

She sighed longingly. She squatted and put her hand in it, the water pulling it. It was warm, as always. She walked towards a blanket. Putting the blanket over a near tree branch, she discreetly changed into a swimming suit in the "changing room". She smiled, looking at it. Her friend Maria had bought it for her birthday. She chuckled, recalling the memory. But then a flash of the hate in her father's eyes passed in her mind. She shuddered, suddenly cold in the scorching heat. She left the changing branch and went to the river.

She waded through the water. Catalina looked around for people, but no one was there. There were usually kids using the boulders in the water as diving boards. But she could find none. Her eyes traveled to the other side of the river and she saw him.,

He looked familiar. He had brown messy hair, was unusually pale (probably a foreigner), and was pretty slim. He looked normal, uninterested but normal, but his eyes betrayed him. He had sad brown eyes. He looked as if he had a mask on and Catalina knew how suffocating it felt, hiding your real thoughts and feelings. Her friends called her 'Lina' but Catalina despised it, but she was too cowardly to say anything. The 'Lina Rodriquez ' from school was popular, cool, and snarky. All the boys fell for her, so much that she hated it. She often wondered how her friends would react if she actually acted like her actual 'Catalina' self.

She looked at him intently, wondering where she had seen him before. She started to think of possible names, 'David? No... Israel? No... hmmm..' She bit the edge of her fingernail. Curiosity got the better of her. "Oye, do I know you from somewhere?" she yelled across the river, over the sound of the rushing water. He looked taken aback, his eyes widening in surprise, but ignored her. But she saw that he had hear her. She smirked, mentally putting on her 'Lina Rodriquez' personality. "Ay, do we have a 'strong but silent' type?" she yelled, teasingly. That seemed to do it. He turned pink, his eyes squinted, and his hands in the air. He took a deep breath, and Catalina realized that he was going yell at her. She winced and braced herself.

Hi! I'm FluffyPanda. I'm one of KittyKat irl friends. I'm homeschooling, like her. My family, is kinda a dysfunctional one. my dad can e like two different people. He can be Happy or angry. My mother is usually Happy or (sometimes) angry. My brother is either happy or slightly annoyed with you. JJ( not his real name) is younger than me. My dad got a job opportunity to study at a university, so he's studying there. He comes home drained, tired, and/or annoyed. And sometimes takes it out on us. He yells and screams at us. When you look on the outside it seems like we are a happy family, but we sometimes aren't. I suffer from low self esteem, low confidence, and sometime I wish I would hurt myself. My dad is the first to poke fun at someone if they have messed up or made a mistake. He threatened me one time, I was making cookies for my friends and My dad kept saying them. I eventually got angry at him and told him to stop eating them because I had bought them (I didn't actually). My dad then went to check his email and looked through the receipts and saw that my mom had actually bought it. He saw that I lied and made a HUGE deal out of it. He threatened to never but me clothes and food ever again. My mother has never threatened me, and I love her dearly.

It’s, meh, Coffee Cake! And I need y’all’s help. My best friend at school, I call her Crystalstar, is leaving this year, as she’s in 8th Grade. The problem is, I wanna stay at my school, but i don’t know if it’ll be as great, without her. And, today, i went to an open house for a really cool school, the one that KNG goes to, and my parents said that if I really really want to, I can go. I don’t know! I don’t wanna leave my friends, and the eighth graders at my school get all sorts of special privileges that I don’t wanna miss out on, but something small inside me is whispering that maybe it’s be better if I went to that other school. I am going to be thinking and praying about it, and I will post any updates. The last problem is, the school that i visited is a charter school, and you have to be pulled lottery to get in. What if I don’t make it?

Note: I hope KS doesn’t mind me sharing the real name of the cat. The names of the people are fake.

This week is Thanksgiving Break, and my family is planning to enjoy it the best way possible. On Monday, we went to a park that was fairly big with a dinosaur playground. Though I am not a big fan of play areas, it was for my younger sister and her friends.

Lily was really excited to have a playdate with Reagan at Reagan’s neighborhood park. Reagan has a little sister as well, whom I would like to call Willow. Lily and I have a younger brother, who I would like to address as Dean.

Lily, Reagan, Dean, and Willow were playing joyfully on the slide,

while I was just swinging. (I enjoy swinging more than playing on slides, but that

is just me. Later, my sister stated that I don’t have an active childhood.) Time passed, and they saw a cat on the sidewalk near the park. I continued swinging, because I didn’t know what they were doing. Honestly, I just thought it was another game.

After 15 minutes, I became curious about what they were doing. It seemed as though they were cooing on something interesting. I asked my mom what they were doing, and she responded, “Tell them not to pet it.” That was when I realized it was a cat! It made perfect sense. My sister was always so excited about cats and kittens, but she despised large dogs.

I ran over to Lily and her friends shortly after. There, I saw a grey cat with white paws. The cat’s eyes were large and they were a shade of amber. (We did not determine the gender of the cat.) It was not wild as Reagan claimed— the cat only crawled around in one area. Lily even claimed that the cat purred beside her. Dean and Willow were awed at the sight of it.

We went back later, and we found a neon green sign stating that a pet owner has lost their cat. It said,

The cat did not really match the description of black and white, though

it was pretty close enough. Willow begged her mother to let her return the cat back to its owner. Both of our moms did not care about the lost cat. My mom stated that we should not get into “this business”, though I think it was because she wanted to stay and talk instead of help.

Later, a mom with three kids found the cat. Willow, Dean, Lily, and Reagan were both very disappointing they did not get the $100. But as it turned out, the cat did not belong to that pet owner. The cat had ran away from the family’s grasp. A father and his son later came to help, though it was a matter of time before they left. Both families left the park, and that was the end of all the cat business.

Lily said she named the cat Mia, but that is not very reasonable because the cat may be a male. Later, Reagan and I agreed that the cat should be called Jessie. (Lily is still against the name, so I think that she will call the cat Mia anyways the next time we see it.) I did a vote, and Dean and I voted for Jessie, while Lily voted for Mia. Reagan agreed on Jessie, so that would be one more vote. No matter what Willow would have voted, Jessie would still have been the cat’s official name.

This is the story of how we found Jessie. A picture might be added later!

Heyyyy.... My first post on my blog!! I will try to post regularly (once or twice a week) about what has happened in my life. (heheheheh) As some of you might know, I am part of a military family, which means that I have to move a LOT! Every 2 or 4 years I move to a different place. I have lived in a lot of places. Anyways, we got orders to move to the place where we were going to live (Lets call it Place A) When we got to Place A, my dad got more orders to go to a country in South America to work and stuff. The plan was that he would go to the training and we would stay in the hotel. But he suggested that we go to live with family until he was done. Annnnnnd I have been living with family for 3-5 months! We are going to Place A in a couple of weeks, to settle in a new home (they gave it to us just last night!) So that's a year of my life! I will fill you in on what happens on flights, moving, and settling in! Have you ever moved before?

Chapter One

CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH.

The dry grass underfoot crackled and broke with every light step she took. She winced when rocks got lodged in her soft pawpads, but she didn't break stride as she watched her apprenticed siblings trot by through the bramble tunnel and out of the camp. Their mentors smiled at them, avoiding her gaze.

Leafkit wasn't envious. She had heard everyone talking. There was just something... off with her, and that was the reason she couldn't be an apprentice. She never complained. She had wished for a long time as a kit to become a strong, able warrior... but that fire had gone out. She was 7 moons old, and her siblings, of the same age, were excellent apprentices. She wasn't.

But what was the matter? Why was she excluded? Leafkit had heard her parents, Frostface and Firestripe, whisper about it deep into the night: about how she was different, there was something wrong with her. She was smaller than other cats. Despite being apprentice age, she still looked like a 3-moon old kitten. She had to stay in the nursery, due to the fact everyone was scared she would be caught and eaten by a hawk, due to the fact no one thought she'd amount to anything beside a Crooked-Fate.

Leafkit trotted sadly over to the Crooked-Fate den, and laid outside it. She listened to the inhabitants like she did everyday. There was Tanglefeet, the 13-moon old tom who was blind and extremely clumsy; there was Brokensong, the sweet white she-cat, aged 12 moons, who was also blind, and Silentwind, the mute 16-moon-old black tom. She smiled when she heard Tanglefeet and Brokensong banter... it made her happy to know that even cats who were different were mostly the same as normal ones.

"Do I hear someone outside?" came the soft voice of Tanglefeet.

Leafkit froze up, mostly out of excitement. It was time for the game.

"Hm..." whispered Tanglefeet, pulling his head out of the den, which was just a marigold tree with some bushes around the open gap at the bottom. He sniffed in a long, deep breath, and said, "Leafkit! Are you ready?"

"Yes," Leafkit said happily.

Tanglefeet smiled and said, "Rules the same as always. Brokensong and I will try and catch you while you run around the camp, Silentwind will keep score with his tail. And tell us who wins at the end." His blind pale grey eyes were full of something, but it wasn't sight.

"Yes!" Leafkit said, crouching and wiggling her rump, tail swaying. Her multi-colored pelt caught the Greenleaf light. "Go!"

Brokensong was the first to move. Her white ears swiveled, following Leafkit's rustling as the kit jumped from the Crooked-Fates den to the warriors', paws slipping. It was a rather short jump, considering that the two dens were set almost parallel to each other, their openings facing the sandy clearing and the fresh-kill pile in the middle of the camp.

"Hey!" hissed Crowflame, his black pelt glistening. "Don't-"

But Leafkit had already dashed into the sandy den, knocking into Dustwind, a rather grumpy and venom-tongued young warrior. "Hey!!!" the tom hissed, his dusty grey-yellow fur matted from just waking up. He swiped a paw at Leafkit, but she had already moved out of the way and out of the den. Tanglefeet was waiting just outside, and clamped his paws over her.

"Gotcha!"

Silentwind whipped his tail in a way of saying, "Tanglefeet, 1. Brokensong, 0. Another match?"

Brokensong's blind eyes glittered and she said, "Why don't we take this next one into the forest?"

Leafkit froze, staring at Brokensong. The forest? None of the Crooked-Fates were allowed out there alone, only with a seasoned patrol of warriors. Leafkit was given the same treatment. "We're not allowed to go out there, Brokensong..." she said quietly.

Brokensong sat down heavily, like a kit having a tantrum. "Fine. But tomorrow, I'll get you!"

Tanglefeet grinned. "You can try, but I'll win again!" He made a circle around Brokensong, both of their ears swiveling, and they leapt on each other in a mock wrestling match. Leafkit laughed, and ran up to give each of them a lick, almost having to dodge Brokensong's paw as it swung around to latch onto Tanglefeet. Silentwind gave her a couple of licks back, and nudged her along to do other things. Then he jumped onto his fellow denmates, and after a couple of moments, they were broken up, walking back to the maple tree from which they came out of. A couple warriors watched them wearily from over by the fresh-kill pile.

After glancing about to the grove of trees on the right of the camp, she decided trot over to the medicine cat den, which was set in the cliff face overlooking the rest of the forest. Inside, it smelled of herbs and bitter flowers.

"Hi, Gorsepaw! Where's Fallenpaw and Snowpaw?"

Gorsepaw glanced around, and grinned a wide smile. "Um.. hi..." he stuttered, and Dewshine, the other medicine cat apprentice, gave him a rough nudge. Something was burning in her eyes. Gorsepaw cleared his throat, and the red blush that had appeared on his face disappeared. "Oh. Hello, Leafkit." he said, with professionalism.

Leafkit smiled back, and he ducked his head to hide his embarrassment.

'Mind if I wait here for them?" Leafkit asked, and sat down on the ground when Dewshine nodded. "Isn't there going to be a warrior ceremony today? For Birdpaw and Riverpaw?"

Dewshine nodded, using a paw to scrap a few mint leaves over to her grey apprentice,. "Icestar's gonna do it when the other apprentices get back. How's your brothers and sisters?"

Leafkit glanced up, confused for a moment. "Well... Blizzardpaw and Flamepaw are doing okay."

"I meant your warrior siblings."

"Oh! Heatherfoot and Firestep? They're great. Heatherfoot said she'll be becoming a queen soon. I can't wait to see her move in so I can see her more often!" Leafkit said, a bit of excitement piqued in her voice. It was true: she loved her older siblings much better than her younger ones, mostly because Blizzardpaw and Flamepaw usually teased and mocked her with the rest of the apprentices... occasionally, even the warriors jumped in in the ridicule fest.

"Whose the lucky tom?" Gorsepaw inquired. He was shifting herbs around. He was about the only apprentice, beside Fallenpaw and Snowpaw, Leafkit's friends, who actually genuinely liked her and wasn't mean to her.

"Obviously Shadowfur. Heatherfoot's had a crush on him since day one." Leafkit smiled, forming, in her mind, an image of her white-furred sister and the friendly, young grey tom sitting together by the small, thread-like river that ran through the south side of camp. "I hope that one day, that I grow a little bit and can have kits myself. But... it seems unlikely."

Gorsepaw glanced at her, a bit of sorrow in his eyes. "You know... um, if I wasn't a medicine cat, I would be with yo-"

Dewshine hit him hard on the back of the head with a paw. It made a muted sound against his fur. "Shush," she said roughly, now chewing some leaves in her mouth and forming it into a pulp on the cool stone floor and beckoning him to do the same.

Leafkit smiled. "That's nice to know..." she said absently, and Gorsepaw knew from her tone of voice that she hadn't heard him, and he was grateful.

She had glanced outside, where storm clouds were starting to gather, and the patrol was coming back home, where she could spot, in the throng, her best friends Fallenpaw and Snowpaw. Their fur was slick with river water and their mouths full of prey.

"Leafkit!" came the excitable voice of Fallenpaw. The light brown-colored she-cat's cream paws thundered across the ground as she ran as quickly as she could to the mouth of the medicine cat's cave. Leafkit braced herself, knowing what was coming next, and side-stepped as Fallenpaw threw herself into the den.

"Ouch!" she winced, her belly hitting the rough part of the cave floor. She had landed at the feet of Gorsepaw, who was staring at her with a bit of detatched humor.

"Hi," he said. Fallenpaw blushed scarlet, not meaning to have disturbed the pile of herbs he was working on, and she, in turn, had landed on. She smiled, embarrassed, and quickly scrambled to her paws. She then addressed Leafkit in a loud voice, as if to distract everyone from what just happened.

"Hey! Leafkit! You know what we found today?!" she said excitedly.

Leafkit glanced at her, a grin playing on her face. "What?"

"Oooh, maybe I should let Snowpaw tell you..." Fallenpaw said impishly. She was rarely this excited. She was the type of cat who was sweet and helpful, but never this happy.

"Don't hold out on me!" mewed Leafkit.

Fallenpaw smiled, and said, "Hey, Snowpaw! Whatcha doing over there?!"

The black tom was rummaging through the fresh-kill pile, arranging it in such a way that it was like a pyramid. He liked order. "What?" he said, glancing up from his activity, and then started towards them, shaking the water out of his fur.

"It'd be nice to have some sun right about now," he grumbled. The sky was still grey.

"You should really have been a medicine cat," Gorsepaw said forlornly. "I mean, you love order, you love helping cats and things like that."

Snowpaw shook his head. Water sprayed everywhere. "I actually wanna have a family," he said, sitting down and running a tongue over his fur. "Like, a mate and kits. Can't have that with being a med cat, Gorsepaw. Didn't you know that when you signed up?" His green-blue eyes traveled between Gorsepaw and Leafkit.

Gorsepaw blushed. "Don't suggest anything," he said, "I d-don't like Leafk-kit like that!"

"Sure," said Snowpaw. "I mean, you're both really small. You may not be destined to be a Crooked-Fate like her, but you're really close."

"Don't joke about that," said Leafkit sternly. "One day I'll grow and I'll be able to help the clan somehow."

Snowpaw smiled. "Yes, you will," he assured her. "Now. When's the ceremony for Birdpaw and Riverpaw?"

"Should be going on in a few minutes," answered Dewshine, from behind Gorsepaw. "You two," she said to Fallenpaw and Snowpaw, "better go find your mentors. I want to have a word with them, if you don't mind." she was now arranging the pulp she had chewed up into a paste.

"Why?" inquired Fallenpaw.

"Didn't Doeleap and Stagstep recently decide to have more kits?"

"Yes," Snowpaw answered. "They really wanted another litter, since Fawnheart and Flowerfur have been warriors for a couple moons now."

"Well, since Doeleap's pregnant, soon she'll be in the nursery. I might as well check on her. She shouldn't be allowed to take another patrol until her kits are apprentices. She should be talking to Icestar right now." Dewshine replied, and Snowpaw nodded, already out of the den and scrambling up to the leader's den, which was situated above the medicine cat's. It was basically just the top of the cliff covered a huge tree that extended from the ground below, it's leaves and top branches serving as a type of heavily sheltered den.

"So..." Gorsepaw said slowly to Leafkit. "Wanna go outside and wait for them?"

Leafkit snapped out of her stupor, which she had inducted on herself due to boredom. "Oh! Yeah!"

Gorsepaw smiled. Beside Leafkit, he was only a couple pounds heavier than her, but it was a big difference. He really liked Leafkit, because she was confident and didn't wish to chnage the fate StarClan had set for her. He couldn't say the same about himself. He wasn't sure if what he felt for her was love, but what he did know was that if he could, he would have never become a medicine cat. Why he became one, he didn't know. Maybe it was the pressure of his mother, Echoleap, who had him with a rogue cat, and she wanted to be accepted as a part of the clan again.

Leafkit had no idea that Gorsepaw liked her. It wasn't that she was ditzy or ignorant, it was just that she didn't pay attention to such things. After all, since she was so small, no bigger than a kit of 3 moons, she never thought anyone would like her like that.

Dewshine turned to Leafkit as they waited for Snowpaw to return. Fallenpaw was yawning, curled up in a little ball. "Leafkit, I had a dream about you yesterday."

Leafkit perked up. "Really? What'd StarClan say?"

"They told me that every few moons you'll get a little bigger." Dewshine said, "but you'll only grow to the size of an apprentice, or slightly bigger. You'll only look eight moons old, at most."

"Still better than now..." Leafkit sighed.

"It's okay," Dewshine assured her. "You're still growing, just not very fast. And if you want, you'll be big enough, when you hit 12 moons, to possibly have kits. But they'll be very small, just like you."

"But everyone says I'll be a Crooked-Fate."

"Sure," said Dewshine, "you'll be a small cat. But I don't think you'll end up as a Crooked-Fate."

Leafkit sighed. "Thanks, Dewshine." She settled down onto the ground, her paws tucked beneath her. "Even if I do, I don't care. I like Tanglefeet and Brokensong and Silentwind. They're very nice." Gorsepaw smiled at her.

"I'm glad you think so." said Dewshine.

From outside, the booming voice of Icestar filled the camp. The rain had begun.

Prologue #3 (ok, last prologue)

She decided that she would go back to camp to put the vole in the fresh-kill pile. Her mouth was watering the whole way there but she new better than to break the warrior code. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating. As she trotted toward the camp, Cottonpaw saw Amberpaw still training with her mentor. “Hey Cottonpaw!” Amberpaw meowed loudly. “Hi Amberpaw!” Cottonpaw yowled back with a mouth full of vole. She kept trotting until she reached the fresh-kill pile. Cottonpaw was about to put the vole on it, but then she thought better. The she-cat adjusted the vole in her mouth and walked till she reached the nursery.

She looked for Rainkit, Oceankit, and Foxkit’s mother Featherpool. She saw the tired queen watching over her kits. They were play fighting, Cottonpaw was only about about a half-moon older than them, but she was a bigger than them. “Hey Rainkit, Oceankit, Foxkit!” I meowed happily. “Hello Cottonpaw!” They chorused together. “Whatcha doing here Cottonpaw?” meowed Rainkit. “I’m just dropping of this to Featherpool.” As she said this, she pawed the vole towards the mother. Featherpool looked grateful. She purred and licked Cottonpaw’s head. “Hey, what about us?” Foxpaw mewed indignantly. Cottonpaw meowed sternly “You have the fresh-kill pile, furball.” The she-cat mimicked attacking him. Soon, his sisters were attacking her too. Rainkit had the most energy and was attacking Cottonpaw with ease. “She has a bright future ahead of her.” Cottonpaw thought to herself.

Prologue #2

Hunting. It was one of Cottonpaw's favorites things about being an apprentice. She loves the feeling of dirt under her paws, being quiet so that the prey cant hear you, making light treading footsteps so they cant feel you. It was in the middle of leaf-bare, so there wouldn’t be much prey. She has seen herself and everyone else getting skinnier by the week. Thunderclan mostly has the best prey, but even we don’t have enough! As Cottonheart was treading on the ground, she smelled a rabbit upwind. She immediately crouched. Echopelt saw her crouch and crouched as well. She crept slowly when she saw a white rabbit. It was about four tail-lengths away. It was so skinny, mostly flesh and bones. She still kept crouching and walked even slower but she picked her tail up too high. The rabbit saw it and ran the other way. Echopelt let out a growl and ran after it. Cottonpaw let out a breath. Echopelt is going to be mad at her. She can’t be wasting food like that. She trotted through the fallen leaves, when she got the feeling something wasn’t right. “Echopelt?” she mewed. He didn’t answer. Cottonpaw searched for him, meowing his name. He didn’t show. Maybe he was testing her? To see if she could do all right on her own? Yes, that was probably it. She kept on looking for prey and caught only a vole. Still good for leaf-bare.

Prologue
It was a crisp and cool sunhigh. Not a cloud in the sky. “Just the way I like it.” Cottonpaw murmured to herself. Oh, if only Rainkit and Amberpaw could see this. Rainkit would be getting her apprentice name soon though. Amberpaw was training to fight at the time. Maybe they could go on hunts together! “What are you thinking about? You might’ve scared away all of the mice with all of your stomping!” meowed her mentor sternly. It was Echopelt. He was a black and grey tom with one of the greenest eyes she has ever seen. “I was just thinking about how Rainkit is going to get her apprentice name.” she replied. He looked as if he was going to laugh. “Come little one,” he meowed “It is time to hunt. We are training after all.”
